good, because it deserved neither of them, period.
is it the best film of the year? no, but it's not the worst. it is what it is, a micheal bay popcorn flick.

I feel DOTM gets snubbed no matter what, is it oscar worthy.. no... is it Razzie worthy.. no.

It's not good and it ain't bad... and Hollywood wants Bay to know he ain't good enough for an award of any kind, lolz!!!!!!!!!

This. Seriously, I can understand why people don't like DOTM, some of my friends don't like it, but Jack and Jill was absolute shite. I can't even exaggerate how terrible it was

Yea, objectivity is a very difficult thing for some fans. I mean contrary to popular belief, I actually like the movies; but I can also take a step back and see the movies for it's flaws.
I don't understand these blind fans who see no flaws in the movies what so ever. I mean really? How far back in the denial closet are some these people?
I really belief a lot if it, is out of loyalty to the fandom, and some these people just feel obligated to like the movies.
Any harsh words I have for the movies are fueled by my disappointed in what we could have had, as opposed to what we got. I don't think I'm asking for much; but all I want to see is a Transformers movie which would be on par with a movie like Captain America, or Spiderman, or the Dark Knight. The movies are not the end all/be all of Transformers.
It's a special effect master piece, granted. But its bragging rights end there.

I like G1, Beast Wars, and TFA; but they have there flaws too. But I can recognize that.

 

I don't think it deserved worst screenplay, and Michael Bay, the man who is killing Ninja Turtles, he tries sort of..... But after everyone's complaining about his camera angles and direction he does a better job then the Hunger Games' director. I liked Dark of the Moon way more than Avatar, anyways.

When/why was Megatron planning to meet with Sentinel Prime? Megatron was leading the final offensive against the Autobots to get the All Spark when Prime launched it into space, with Megatron chasing after it. Had Megatron got the All Spark, Sentinel Prime's tech would be worthless to him.

Why are Autobots choosing sides on human struggles? It's not the Autobots' place to assassinate Iranians. I'm pretty sure Bumblebee blew up a ton of Iranian scientists when he nuked the weapons plant. The Autobots working with US military makes them seem just as bloodthirsty as the 'Cons.

When and how did the Decepticons hide all those drones on the moon without being seen?

Why would Decepticons want humans to rebuild Cyberton? everything is metal, and humans are small squishy things that can't do much. Can humans even breathe on Cybertron?

There are now 8 known surviving Autobots at the end of DOTM (Prime, 3 Wreckers, Ratchet, Bumblebee, Sideswipe, Dino), but untold hundreds of Decepticons poured out of the spacebridge and took pillars around the world... What plan does the Autobots have for that? Prime can't kill them all. They act like it's over...

What horrible sin did Sam commit from the time of Egypt to the time of the Presidential medal that made Mikaela run away screaming? Women are fickle things, true, but Sam had to have done SOMETHING (lemme guess... left the toilet seat and she fell in?)...

And these are just the issues I have with the writing... haven't even BEGUN with the horrible acting by the humans characters....

Why are people so mad that is DOTM was nominated for the Razzies??? The Razzies is one big yoke, that's the meaning of the Razzies. There not serious, so why act so mad?

I don't care what DOTM wins, it's still a bad movie.

 

It's no different than when anyone who criticized Extreme Studios to the Liefeld fans, and were blatantly ignored. In TF4 they could make it two hours of nutshots, flinging feces, and make Prime and Bumblebee lovers, and the Bayverse fans will say it's the greatest piece of cinema ever. Every day I have to fight off the urge to go on one massive road trip and beat these fools over the head with a copy of Blade Runner.
