so theres no commentary for the new bluray of dotm with features? i really enjoy the whole "the director is watching the movie with you" kind of feel and he would point out some cool things and explain other things, i really enjoyed that and was hoping dotm would have one, bummed to find there isnt...
I'm pretty disappointed to hear this, not to mention very surprised. I thought after all the shit Bay took for ROTF, he'd definitely have something to say commentary wise about DOTM. That's really too bad.
Yeah, I noticed that the back cover didn't mention anything about it. I thought for sure that an audio commentary was mentioned when they announced the special-feature edition. Dang. Ah well.
Thats harsh. I loved the commentary in the first movie. The second one not so much because it wasn't pure Bay, it was the writers too which i didn't like.
Not a killer for me, as I just don't like commentaries with a single person. I enjoy about 3 to 5 people in a commentary, trading stories (see the Lord of the Rings for how you do commentary RIGHT!)
I thought it was lame as well... and no deleted scenes, (what about Brue and Carly in the hallway, they said they shot it) almost makes me think another release will be coming. You pretty much just get a solid two hour doc. and all the other bonus is... well stuff I already know and have already seen.
well they shot Many others scenes that never made into the movie and the blu-ray release. Like The Twins, Sam witnessing Sentinel activating the pillars in DC, Scenes shot with Kym Whitley, Autobots Go Home stuff and among others
i have no idea. well the twins were hated by almost every TF Fan, so its likely bay didnt wanted to have the racist bot bash again for DOTM but it was a big mistake as their deaths could had actually reedemed the characters
I actually think that is what bay had originally planned. If you watch the execution scene with cue it looks like there are a few decepticons just standing around aiming at nothing. My guess is thats when bay would of killed the twins.
I hate it when home releases don't contain at least a commentary. That should be a standard extra included on all releases, especially if there's no other extras either.
