since its possible that tf4 could be made, i decided to make a wishlist/speculation thread for those who do want a fourth movie

u can also speculate of a reboot in case we end up getting that (i want a reboot, but i dont really speculate)

Alright, I'll try being unique with my responses  :
-More unique character designs. In ROTF and DOTM, some robots deviated from the standard bipedal modes and went with crazy new designs like Rampage's jackhammer, Demolishor's wheelfoot, and Clover-con's Cloverfield stature. For example, I actually had in mind Stunticons combining to form a four-armed Menasor that rolls around on a single-wheel design to keep in touch with the Stunticons' speed theme.

 

My thoughts


I've been giving this a lot of thought.

Here is what I think should happen in TF4:

1.) Have Optimus Prime leave the Autobots, because he is upset with all of the deaths that have happened while under his watch and he takes the Matrix of Leadership out of his chest saying that, "With all of these unnecessary deaths, I am unfit to be your leader anymore." Then transforms and drives off into the sunset to contemplate his future.

2.) Having said that, this opens up the chance to introduce Ultra Magnus & Hot Rod. Hot Rod while listening to communications on a distant planet, he stumbles upon the news of Optimus' departure, they then travels to Earth to see if the news is true. They arrive and then UM & HR go off to explore Earth where they come across a Vehicle Carrier hauling some exotic cars. UM (Being Bigger) scans a Vehicle Carrier to be his Alt Mode, HR sees a Red Bugatti Veyron and scans it to be his Alt Mode. Ratchet asks them to stay and be a part of the remnants of NEST. They accept the offer.

3.) After UM & HR returns from their outing, Ratchet asks if one of them would be willing to take over the leadership duty of the Autobots. HR says that he would but UM stops him cause HR is a bit naive about leading a team. UM takes the Matrix and places it in his chest and he assumes the role of leader.

4.) With Megatron being killed by Optimus Prime, The Decepticons are also leaderless. They discuss the lineage of the Decepticon Leaders where the name Galvatron comes up and they send word out to any & all Cons who have knowledge of where Galvatron's body is located. They discover his whereabouts and send a recovery team (Including the Doctor from ROTF with the Allspark Shard) they find him and re-ignite his spark and bring them to the 'Nursery' from ROTF so they can inform him of the ongoings of the Cybertronian War and they then ask him to lead him. He makes one demand though, "I must have two of my bravest soldiers: Scourge & Cyclonus." They agree to get them and they go to Earth while the recovery team goes through the Cosmos in search of Scourge & Cyclonus. They find them and they travel to Earth just in time for the final battle.

4.) While the final battle is happening between the Cons & Bots, the recovery team arrives with Cyclonus & Scourge in tow. Tipping the odds in the Cons direction, UM goes up to Cyclonus & Scourge and engages them in a handicap match where he loses the battle and HR comes up and UM tells HR that he needs to retreat to safety and then UM takes the Matrix out cause he isn't leader material and gives it to HR where he becomes Rodimus Prime. RP comes back and engages Cyclonus & Scourge and then they begin to tussle for a few minutes and UM comes back and engages Cyclonus while RP engages Scourge. Then Galvatron arrives and begins to engage RP & UM which turns the tides towards the Cons. Where we hear a familiar voice, its Optimus Prime (after some time to reflect) and then he engages Galvatron. UM and Cyclonus take each other out with their weapons which leaves RP & OP in fisticuffs with Scourge & Galvatron. RP takes out Scourge with Scourge's own weapon. Then RP engages in the OP/Galvatron scuffle. After a while, Galvatron sees that the Cons are getting whooped up on, he & the remaining Cons retreat to lick their wounds.

5.) After the Cons retreat the Autobots gather around & Rodimus Prime gets down on one knee and takes the Matrix out of his chest and re-bestows the Matrix to Optimus Prime saying that, "Optimus, I believe that this belongs to you," and hands the Matrix to Optimus Prime where then we get the epilogue from Optimus Prime.

This is all I have so far. Let me know if you guys like this or riddle it with more holes than Bonnie & Clyde.

 

New Autobots and Galvatron (seperate character from Megatron), Straxus, Thunderwing, Overlord and Jhiaxus as the 5 new main Decepticons. A good plot and more character development.

 

Paramount is not in a million years going to ever produce a movie that costs them $200 million to make and is supposed to be their tent pole Summer blockbuster that doesn't feature human characters to draw in the normal, non-TF fan movie-goers who make up 98% of their audience.

Whatever the future holds for the franchise and no matter who ends up directing, you can rest assured there will always be plenty of human characters front and center.

 

Have Straxus, Thunderwing and Overlord as the villains. Kill Bumblebee.

Have Scraplets. The TF version of an STI.  

I know it's not exactly what kaiserlisk meant with his comment but I would like no annoying humans myself. But I mean there can still be humans, just not annoying ones.  

 

That's true, human characters doesn't have to mean, bumbling loser teen stereotype, shallow love interests, and comic relief parents.

Focus on soldiers, or a human tf hybrid character like Sari, or just someone more relatable. As the first trilogy went on the human characters became more and more bland and stereotypical. They can have compelling characters too.

 

In TF4 I want Megatron, Starscream, Skywarp, and Thundercracker, Blackout back, Soundwave, and Shockwave. I know that's the old decepticons but they're awesome ones. Autobots: All the same that we have, plus aerialbots. I'm not sure if I spelled that correctly but that's the TF's I want. Now for the humans. I want Sam back, and Mikaela. I don't give a shit for Carly, if she's in TF4 they should have a con kill her. Of course I want Lennox & Epps, Simmons, and Dutch don't care for hardcore eddie dude.
