Sorry to sound like a troll here and not contribute properly but 'can Ironhide will be back?' is one of the best sentences I've read in a long time :D

Also as a side point, even if I posted in a Japanese forum in broken Japanese, I wouldn't get offended if they told me my Japanese sucked... it's a funny sentence whatever the reason.

Plus i actually enjoy a good raping of the English language. It takes some skill to do it properly :p

No it didn't! That's what alot of people seem to miss. You don't see his Spark or head dissolve, and the fact throughout the movie nothing is actually said about Ironhide being dead, then in a fictional movie where it's already shown Transformers can come back from the dead, time and time again, there is nothing to say Ironhide won't be back for the forth.

It's very easy for them to bring him back, with all of the drones, and the fact that Ironhide's body was mostly made up of spare parts anyways, all he needs is his head and spark (which I did not see dissolve, you see the rust fall, but how do we know the spark went, and all we saw was his head roll off, but it was still in tact, and you can't go by what the novel said either, since the novel had Megatron live while he died in the movie!)

So, while the chances are that he will be back are not likely, it's not a definite!

No it didn't. It fell off, but it did not rust away. You see his chest and fingers rust, but not his head, and I didn't see a spark go "CAPUT!" Isn't it one of the lore's in Tranformers, all they need is their head and spark, and well, I did not see either get destroyed on screen! Also, throughout the whole movie, nobody said anything about Ironhide being dead yet! Maybe it was a clue! Maybe the one thing us Ironhide fans were fretting, him not getting a mention, is because perhaps he truly isn't dead!!!! Wishful thinking, but it is fiction, and that's fact, anything can happen!

just cause it wasnt shown doesnt mean his head didnt rust out and just cause you didnt see it doesnt mean his spark did not distinguish.

by your theory that would mean jazz could have came back cause he had his head as well and we did not physically see the spark go out but guess what, where is he? dead!

as well as ironhead, dead dead mother fucking dead!

I think Ironhide has just as good a chance as Jazz coming back too.

But you see Jazz's spark get destroyed, you don't see Ironhide's head or Spark get destroyed. Look, you can spew all of this shit that just because it didn't happen on screen that it happened. I DID NOT SEE HIS HEAD RUST AWAY, IT JUST FELL OFF, AND I DID NOT SEE HIS SPARK GET DESTROYED, SO BOTH ARE STILL INTACT!
I'm sticking to this until a directors cut shows otherwise. Say all you want, but you won't change my mind!!!!!!

He can come back with his same head, same heart, he just has to have a new body using one of the drones that were left behind, and would be a perfect opportunity for him to find a new Earth mode, since the Top Kick is out of commission.

Now, I'd like to say a few words.

Ironhide was a true Autobot. Very brave, very stalwart, and very badass. When it came time for a mission or combat, Ironhide was the first to volunteer. Ironhide was a fierce warrior, and a friend to any ally of his, NEST, Autobot, or civilian. He had years of experience, and was Optimus' best friend and bodyguard, and second in command. Now Ironhide's death was unpredictable, and a testament to the evils at work to destroy good Autobots like Ironhide. But Ironhide did not die in vain: he was an exceptionally hard-working Autobot, who was one of the key Autobots in all three films. He was one of the few robots in the films besides Optimus and Bumblebee to truly leave an impact on the general audience. He wasn't known as "the silver badass one" or the "ghetto smart car" or "the one made from people stacked on each other". He was known as Ironhide. A brave, powerful, and strong Autobot. He was brave and true, right to the bitter end.

    You will be missed Ironhide.

I get the feeling Ironhide is going to become the new Jazz of these boards.

Okay, I know you don't want to change your mind, but I've decided to debate on this with you anyway, and hope I don't get an aggressive looking response.

Okay, with regards his head. It does fall off. And there is rust on it, which no doubt spread around like it did the rest of his body. So basically, no head left.

But you're right on one account; His spark isn't seen being extinguished. But given that we see literally his entire upper torso disolve and rust, his spark chamber has no doubt rusted away. And because then there is nothing to contain the energy that is the spark, it no doubt dispersed. So yeah, there's absolutely no chance of him being ressurected.

Megatron could be ressurected because they his body and spark chamber were intact. We don't actually see Jazz's spark being extinguished. We just see energon coming from his upper torso. However, it was in the original script that Megatron ate Jazz's spark before confronting Prime.

Leave ironhide alone! Let him be one with the matrix along with the other dead autobots.
