I have an idea. What if NO ONE ever died in these movies about a war between two factions? Hmm? You know, they just kinda... get better?

I can't wait for TF4 to start filming. Why? So we can get less idiotic threads like this.

 

I'm sure he survived... I mean he only got shot in the head having his face been blown up, his eyes being stabbed and falling into several pieces on the ground after falling from the height of a parking lot... yeah... I'm sure he'll be the main villain, what with all the character development he had during the films... oh wait ¬_¬

If your lucky he'll be in the film as a very poorly developed side character. Though honestly I think they'll just replace him with a similar jet transformer - probably thundercracker or skywarp.

Though then we'll start getting more rant threads about how each new piece of news means that the film will suck OR we'll have idiots stating that everyone who doesn't like the movies is a 'bay hater' which will create endless flame wars in the comments.

I think hes dead but it wouldn't feel right without him. Unless they have cyclonus takes his place.

Seriously, I'm pretty sure someone posted DOTM Thundercracker's bio stating that he's Starscream's apprentice. Might not be him, but it's close enough.

 

Theoretically if he wasn't dead If Jetfire couldn't fix his messed up leg I doubt he could fix both eyes and his head blind, unless he had a lot of those little doctor bots on him.

Aside from the "Indestructible Spark" theory, don't see how they'd do it. His entire head kind of exploded, and no one's really bounced back from that in the movies (Megatron only had PART of his face shot off, so he doesn't count).

 

Certainly it would be an interesting addition to the movies and a whole story could be based around it. Frenzy hacking systems in the first BayFormers and Soundwave messing with satellites in RotF showed the Decepticons disrupting human networks is a useful weapon to use against their enemies. Now if Starscream's immortal spark could get into the internet somehow and then leech into military systems via wirelsss and plug-ins and stuff that would be something to explore as he spreads out across the planet.

Then finally he finds the secret human project (led by Doctor Archeville?) to build Transformers, either from scratch or from dead Decepticons left over from DotM, and downloads himself into a new body that he reformats into something a bit more Starscream-y. But perhaps he's still got control of all the systems he'd infiltrated as a virus spark and can also then control the other body shells at the same time. Starscream's Army. Throw in a smarmy smirking human Pretender avatar under Starscream's control and you've got the complete set.  

Also I can see Starscream's immortal spark looking like Kremzeek as it skitters about the web.

I'd love to see this happen!  

 

Actually, thinking about my Kremzeek suggestion, it could be we don't even find out about Starscream's involvement until later in the movie. To begin with there's just this quirky new Kremzeek app that people are downloading to their phones and computers and whatnot like the latest popular fad and everyone only finds out too late that they've actually been helping Starscream by downloading and uploading him to all their gadgets.
Additionally, Starscream would have a little Kremzeek tattoo on his new body.

At the very least we'd get a load of Kremzeek-themed merchandise released for the movie. Wear the t-shirt. Hug the plushie. Eat the cereal. Download the app and play the 'KremSeek' game where you help him find and collect up the scattered parts of Starscream's spark to revive him. And then when Humanity has downloaded the app enough the real Starscream will take over the world.  

 

Reminds me of the Digimon movie in a good way. Though personally I feel it would make more sense if it was Soundwave who downloaded himself. Then he manipulates Doctor Arkeville into helping him be resurrected and then Soundwave resurrects Megatron via past memories of Megatron - which he acquires from an attack on Optimus Prime - just giving Megatron the memory of Optimus Prime and the ability to pretty much understand how Optimus operates making him a much more deadly opponent.

 

While it would make more sense on one level, Soundwave is dead and Starscream has the immortal spark in TF lore that would allow him to operate on this other plane after his body is destroyed. Unless possibly Soundwave found a way to upload his spark to the internet the split-second before he died.
Or the movie could change it so Soundwave has the immortal spark and not Starscream. But then just imagine the rage that would cause amongst fans, especially Starscream fans.  

Maybe Starscream has been reassembling dead Decepticon sparks somehow and storing them online and the first one he did was Soundwave's and it was Soundy's idea to make the Kremzeek app to spread throughout the system. Could be a way to bring back Decepticons killed in previous movies.

 

All Decepticons except for Megatron had too little screen time and did nothing remotely important in order for the writers to be considering all these resurrection theories. They're little more than robotic boogymen.

There's no way they would actually bother to resurrect Starscream, it's obvious they don't give a crap about him.

 

...Holy shit, you just TOTALLY made that indestructible spark theory work.   They'd never pull that off in the movies, because that'd be TOO good. But still, hats off to you, sir!
