There has been a lot of debate on what Megatrons plans/ the man villains plans were throughout the movie franchise. I have posted this on a lot of threads but i just wanna put this up for whoever is confused as to what the plans of the bad guys were.

    my theory is that:

-the sun harvester was made on earth but the fallen lost the key to his brothers and used megs to get the allspark be cause the allspark can find the matrix since the matrix was made from it.
-sentinal made that deal with megs.
-megs was going to betray the fallen, sensing that his increased power would threaten his rule.
-allspark is sent into space by bumblebee(or whoever) and goes to earth because that is where the matrix is.
-megs goes after the allspark to raise a new army (stated by ratchet in TFTM '07) and to use the allspark to find the matrix.
-then the fallen was to arrive, only to find sentinal revived by a defiant megatron.
-prime and megs kill the fallen (since only a prime can kill the fallen, megs needed sentinal which is why he accepted sentinals agreement) take our suns energy, and rescorces (oil metal... ect)
-transport them to cybertron via pillars(needed sentinal to control the pillars)
-and use megatrons newly activated army (by the allspark) to rebuild cybertron.
-after all the rescorces were transported, megs was going to kill sentinal and rebuild cybertron in his image.
-when finish, he would have moved on to conquer the ....(galaxy, universe, whatever)

    ALL HAIL MEGATRON!!!!!!!!:ev: :ev: :2c:

But due to the autobots intervention:

The destruction of Megatrons plan in movie one caused the now increased need for energon. This time for Cybertron as well as the hatchlings so Megatron can raise a new army to replace the one that was going to be made from earth's technology. The destruction of the sun harvester in ROTF obliteraed that plan and caused the need for human slaves in DOTM. Everything else that happened was in my point of view planned from the start. Even though the fallen was killed by a different prime, it was planned for him to die anyway. Megatron defended him during the fight because among other reasons, (hating optimus) should the fallen have won, megatrons loyalty would not have been questioned making it easier for him to turn on the fallen when the time came. and Sentinal was resurected by Optimus instead of by Megatron because Optimus recoverd the matrix.

I may have over anylized the movie-verse, but it was fun. what do you guys think?

Its been a while lol, but a new movie brings new theories, right? Well not really, in AOE we see galvatron doing exactly what Megatron tried to do: regain control of a decepticon army and restore himself to his former war-mongering glory. This time however, the stole TFP Megatrons plan to cyber-form earth, -___-.

Lockdown however, I believe was working for the Quintessons, but I dont think im the first one to come up with this as there are way more dedicated fans than me. And im sure we all put together that Cemetary Wind hunted down all the rouge Cons and was then persuaded by the newly arrived Lockdown to start hunting down Autobots in an attemp to return prime to the Quintessons or Creators or whoever. The seed that was promised to farm extra transformium and the extra transformium harvested from the Autobots was just currency to Lockdown, classic.

OMG, that makes a lot sense
So optimus was never ment to be megatrons arch-nemises, he just got in the way of his plans?

By George, you DO have it!

Nice job on this and it makes perfect sense. I wish they would have had Sam do a monologue of this and add it to the scene where he makes all of the connections with the space race... would have tied everything together nicely.

    That totally works!

...Now if they'd just bothered to use one of those "villains somewhat oddly decide to explain everything to no one in particular/Carly/Dylan so the audience understands what the hell's going on in relation to the first two films" monologues explaining all of that.

Oh well, this is the explanation I'll go with.

That's called good story telling; and let's be honest here, Bayformers doesn't have that.

That... actually makes a lot of sense.

You have my respect for piecing all this together. With this in mind, I can now loosen up on the Movieverse continuity a bit.

Excellent job here. Maps out how everything fits together and makes sense, not like ROTF which all of a sudden a ancient Transformer "god" decides to finally get off the couch randomly.

Though I crave now another movie, I would love to see what might have happened to the other half of Cybertron, if it suffered a similar fate on the other side of the bridge or if it was just clean cut in half like the hole snapped shut.

Excellent theories and ones that I will use for my own thinking! I was definitely trying to get on the same track as this, but you definitely put it all in perspective. Good job!

First off, to the OP, that's generally what I was thinking but you layed it out nicely. Too bad they couldn't take the time to do a quick explanation in the movie itself, adding fuel to bad reviews.

Only one error: the AllSpark goes to where the nearest Sun Harvster is.

But the rest makes perfect sense.

Very creative, but it's a shame Michael Bay's ineptitude as a filmmaker has forced you to scrape the barrel in such a way.

The enemy's plan should have been threatening, structured and, above all, coherent. It was none of these things. In each film he merely tried to outdo the last. Each plan contradicts the other. Nobody else found it strange that Sentinel didn't once mention the Allspark? Or is Michael Bay just bored of that Mcguffin now? The man is a terrible, terrible filmmaker.

In fact it was by chance. What I'm trying to say is that he based his theory on the fact that the AllSpark searches for the Matrix, when it actually seacrhes for the Harvester.
