During the Scene where Sam goes home after meeting Carly's boss, My sister noticed a pretty significant plot hole; Sam gets a ride to Carly's Place of work courtesy of his vacationing parents because his car was acting up cut forward a scene and a half where Sam's Car is there in spite of his awesome parents giving him a ride.
That was awful considerate of Dr. McBackstab to tow Sam's car over to his place of business just to humiliate Sam in front of his smoking hot Model of a girlfriend and fix his car.

Another one I realized later as I walked to work yesterday, involves Lazerbeak Teleporting at Sam's workplace. First, Laserbeak tosses Wang out the Window, Just another day at the office for John Malkovitch who immediately after asks Sam to Clean up whats left of Wang, Immediately followed by a Black Laserbeak printer playing the "Robots In Disguise" tone and attacking Sam in the office. I think Laserbeak has been hanging out with skywarp because He somehow went from Wang's office about 2 floors up to Sam's office in the space of about a minute.
That is a Tasty Burger!

Unless I'm mistaken, Sam gets a ride to his various job interviews by his vacationing parents in their car. And presumably gets driven home by his parents from said interviews. Sam drives his yellow and black POS Datsun to Carly's place of work, as evident by the half-a-dosen shots of Sam pulling up in front of Accureta Systems in the Datsun, walking to the Datsun, Carly and Sam getting into the Datsun and Sam kicking the Datsun.

Unless I'm misunderstanding your description.

That does seem to be some convenient place-changing, doesn't it? But honestly, given Laserbeak's skills as an assassin, constantly reformatting and essentially just being a lightning quick murder-death-bird-robot, I wouldn't put it past him to have flown down two stories (through the stairwell, air vents, whatever) and reformatted to the copier in the 20 seconds that passed between Laserbeak's talons letting go of Wang's chair and the office worker getting up close and personal with the copier. That's just my hand-wavium explanation of course.

Tons of Star Trek references, Leonard Nimoy being the biggest one of course.

This is neither a joke, reference nor a hard to spot thing, BUT I don't feel the need to start a new thread for every little thing (plenty of others have that base covered), but firgured it fit well enough... anyway, I only just noticed for the first time in DOTM when Dylan and Carly arrive at his penthouse (after the siege of Chicago has begun) Dylan hollars at his staff "Get the dogs! Get 'em and put 'em in the back!"

I found that line to be fantastically odd. It's so irrelevent that it's almost as if one of the writers had a moment of clarity and decided (at the 11th hour of the entire trilogy) to actually throw a little character moment in there. i.e. Dylan, he could give a shit about his planet or his fellow humans, BUT... he sure loves his dogs and doesn't want to see any harm come to them!

Yeah, that is sort of funny. And it also sort of shows the futility of doing anything in a siege like that. A lot of good it's going to do to put your dogs in the back when your entire skyscraper topples down in a barrage of missiles.

Oh, I thought he was yelling at his staff to take cover in the back. It explains that scene of the Afghan hound with Carly.

I wouldn't call it character development - if he really loved his dogs he'd take care of them himself, instead he's yelling at his servants to make sure none of his property is damaged.

there's an Illuminati symbol in the part where Carly dumped Sam and when Simmons starts talking about rich bastards and grabs Sam from the shoulder and the camera is moving to the back view, you can see it at the right side middle. Its squared and looks like an Olympic medal.

Are you talking about this?

If so, that's just the manufacturer of the fire escape stairway...and, of course, a dead giveaway that they're NOT in downtown D.C., lol.
