Since it is said TF3 has something to do with the space race what if it also includes the Transformer's own space programs? Forgotten by the Autobots.

Maybe there were two exploratory programs. One includes the Seven Primes quest for Energon. The other well is the Sentinel Prime expedition, a science mission.

In theory the Nemesis is the ship that carried the Fallen and his fellow Primes. Another theory, there is another ship, let's call this the Ark, led by a Sentinel Prime. Something to do with this expedition is detected by Earth scientists leading to the race for the moon.

 

Oh man, good luck citing a tie-in comic with cannon. I don't even think any of the tf1,2 or 3 Writers ever read any of those books.

 

Interesting Theory. Perhaps the Autobots had their own "Seekers" to explore.

I would think that the Transformers own space race would have occured millenia before ours. I suspect nothing more will come of the sentinel prime expedition. though I like the idea that it was maybe a first contact mission. Establish contact with other worlds, possibly earth, although when SP got here, proto humans were either a) not here yet or b) like the ones in BW and therefore not capable of higher communication

I still have doubts that the Fire Truck is Sentinel Prime but if it is it means a plot hole for ROTF. Unless of course they covered their bases with Sam's rant. Sam mentions 17 other dimensions. I'm just going to kick this idea as Sentinel Prime was undetectable by the Fallen due to being in another dimension.

 

Well in the other dimensions Sentinel Prime is either A) Dead or B) a Douche.


I'm not sure what they would do with Sentinel Prime in the movieverse. I doubt it was intentional, Even if it was by Kurtzman or Orci, It's pointless as their no longer writing the script. I don't think Krueger will get into the Sentinel Prime Expedtion.

It looks like he has the Prime symbol or part of the Prime symbol so we know he is not Unicron; so that narrows down the list to Vector Prime, Sentinel Prime, Zeta Prime, the Last Autobot, Prime's Father, or a new character; but if the missing part of the symbol turns out not to be the Prime symbol then Alpha Trion, Primus, Unicron or a new character. If it is a Prime it is on of Prime's long thought dead relatives that the fallen couldn't even sense (remember he knew instantly when Prime died in TF2).

If it's a Prime I hope it is Vector Prime.
If it's not a Prime I hope it is Alpha Trion.

 

Alpha Trion is a member of the Oirginal 13, making him a Prime

 

I would think so too..but then again, ROTF stated that there were 7 Primes. After that, Hasbro changed their idea on 13 Primes and turned it into 13 first Transformers, of which 7 were Primes..

Alpha Trion *could* be one of the original 13, but not be deemed a Prime. Maybe that allows him to appear and be alive, but not be of any interest to The Fallen...?

I know that sounds dumb.

 

In the movies there where 7 Primes, The movies did not mentioned the other 6 so they could exist as part of the original 13 but not as Primes. TF2 spoke on the 7 Primes of the Original 13, so TF3 could go into on the 6 non-Primes of the Original 13.

 

The Seven Primes were the original leaders of the Transformers. They acknowledge Optimus Prime as a descendant.

It is assumed that the Fallen committed a purge of the Prime line through his minions. Only Optimus Prime is the assumed survivor.



The crew does look like a bunch of Optimuses. Perhaps this his generation. Much like the Primes resembling their followers looks. Maybe when Sentinel Prime heard of the Fallen killing his brother Primes he used the Expedition as a cover to hunt down the Fallen and his Decepticons. Which is probably why the Nemesis crashed on some dead moon while the "Ark" crashed on ours. Perhaps there was a space bridge malfunction.

Given it has been established the ship on the moon is the Ark and the guy at the end is a Prime given the mark on his chest. Just a bit of confirmation that the Prime is Sentinel then this theory would fit to a Tee.

 

Do you have a picture of the crew? I never noticed there was a crew.

I think the ship is the ark. And they were after the Nemesis (Fallen ship). Both got shot and the nemesis landed on Mars (not sure) and the Ark on the moon. The crew went in a static lock. Megatron found the nemesis when he was in search of the Allspark and brought the fallen out of his static lock. The fallen ordered him to get the All Spark (I don't see an other reason why Megatron apologised to the fallen for not finding the Allspark). Only the fallen was brought back because besides Starscream, no other Decepticons were on the ship. The fallen must have ordered Megatron to get the Allspark and then the war started. How did the fallen do this?

The gold guy on the ship is probably a prime. The fallen assumed that he died in the crash.

What did NASA with the ship? Maybe like in the first movie (when they found Megatron): nothing. Mankind was not in danger

I can only hope it will be explained, I doubt it.
