I saw some wording on there that made me nervous - and in looking came across this thread...

This is what gets me

I got this from youtube

so you click the tutorial and you get the following

Now technically I think filming from my office window should be legal.. right?
but - with all this takedown crap going on.. Can they really do that? I guess they have all the lawyers so they can do whatever they want.
I don't think I am going to do it - having a fun video up is worth more than the 5 to 10 bucks I might make in "profit sharing" in any case - what's your take on the wording there?

Just got a call from my wife this morning, she was an hour and a half late for work due to transformers filming - which meant she got in the garage after "early bird rates" which means parking went from 12$ to 30$ for the day - I imagine they aren't gonna help me out any... good thing they can just buy our city up by giving money to our corrupt ass mayor.. bah.

In any case her office is on the south side of 300 S Riverside - overlooking the old post office (non chicagoans may remember it as the bank in the new batman movie) - they are filming in there today and they closed off her side of the office - she works 10' from the windows and is not allowed to walk past the windows.. wth?!in any case this is the video - take a look before it gets yanked.. maybe?

dude are you serious??!!! they told her not to walk past the windows in her office by the people in her office???? thats ridiculous and doesnt even make any sense!!!! she is on the south side of the post office? where exactly???? does it look over the back loading docks of the post office????? you should take a look at my thread "Transformers 3 Chicago Incident," it has alot to do with this, man there is something top secret going on at the post office.....

She is north of the post office facing south
they did the same thing while they were filming Batman.
They didn't bother us much in my building - and the TF security seems a lot better than Batman (I saw them (batman people) push a few people around... big nono - they could get sued huge for that) (I used to work in Sears Tower for the filming of that one)

ahh.. I know the building, the one they used to shoot over the street kiddy corner from Union Station...the batman security actually were pushing people around????!!!!!!!......I hope those people looked into that, god forbid that that would happen on the Transformers set......I felt as though that it was close to happening with my guy because he was kinda in my face about the pictures.... So just to clarify she was instructed to not even go by the windows???!!!

over on youtube

I hadn't heard of this place before - it came up in a google search about takedowns of videos etc.. Figured I'd register and join the conversation.

My old youtube account got 3 strikes against it.. 2 because people complained there was profanity in videos (someone talking in the background... ) There really was (is?) no real appeal process. I just got screwed and they took everything down including a handful of things I had since lost the originals of
