Weird thing I noticed in the second disk.

In the second disk looking at the basic animation (the basic 3d shapes) The forest scene was playing and it was very different and they explained that they changed it and stuff, but when Prime ripped off Grindors face Grindor kept fighting Prime?

So can TF's stay alive without a head?

I'm pretty sure test animatics are not canon.

You try so hard to bash that you end making less sense than the things you complain about in the movie.

That would have been pretty cool, given Grindor's ACTUAL role in the movie.

It may look like a 35 Ft tall mechanical monster, BECAUSE IT IS a 35 Ft tall mechanical monster!

It's not unheard of for some living creatures to keep moving on pure impulse for a short while after being beheaded. It's possible that's what kept Grindor going.

Would have probably been very silly, though.

At any rate, still waiting for the DVD here so I've not been able to see these test animatics yet.
