Starscream and Soundwave decide that Megatron has become obsessed with avenging The Fallen, and come to the conclusion that the only way to defeat the Autobots is to remove Megatron from his place as leader. Starscream leads his followers into a full-scale war against the humans and Autobots, supposedly "in the name of Megatron", which culminates in an epic battle on Diego Garcia and the Decepticons conquering a major human city. (Probably San Francisco.) When Megatron comes down to Earth to take over, the Autobots predictably strike back, and Prime and Megatron engage in a huge fight. When Megatron's victory is almost at hand, Starscream and Soundwave reveal their true colours, beating up Megatron and allowing Prime to take the upper hand. Screamer, 'Wave and their followers then quickly get the hell out of there, leaving Megatron and his elite guard to die at the hands of the Autobots and NEST. The Decepticons remaining on Earth are wiped out, and Starscream and Soundwave go back to Cybertron and take control of the Decepticons.

I'm working out my own script for TF3 right now. Less robots than in ROTF, less bad jokes, more robot screentime.

each subsequent movie will introduce new characters, it's how these things go and doubly so in overblown toy commercials. i'm just eager for the introduced robots to be ones that add at least the potential for interesting situations and awesome toys.
put it like this, who would be a potentially more interesting addition to the roster - shockwave or.. say.. seaspray? and how much character development does an explosion actually need?
i'm with you though. the prospect of a twenty minute monologue from Arcee about the trials she faces being a feminist bot in the face of decepticon sexual discrimination fascinates me. Bay is selling us short by not exploring the darker side of bumblebee's relationship with Sam, and quite what childhood abuse megatron endured should definitely be probed in the next instalment. | |

NIce, but Soundwave is the wrong character for that, he is supposed to be MEgatrons 1st in command, he is most loyal Decepticon, so only Starscream & some other bot would do that.
