More Sideswipe hopefully. And more of the supporting cast, not just Optimus, BB, and the Twins. Especially give the new bots at least a some time to flesh themselves out more (at least say their names and introduce them properly!).

Bot-wise: probably bigger, badder, and bringing something/unique design-wise (like the Arcee triplets or Devastator). And Wheeljack.

Unfortunately, i see more of Bay's trademark humor... but also more of his trademark 'sploshuns, and some epic battles.

Why is it that 99.99% percent of your posts are complaints or laments about Bay and the films? You don't find anything at all positive in the movieverse?

 

I like the idea of a live-action Transformers movie, and I actually love the designs. I just wish it wasn't Bay in the director's seat.

Another enjoyable movie like most what Bay does.

 

This is what I'm expecting:

-Lots of action
-Minimal plot
-Minimal characterization
-Corny jokes
-Lewd humor
-Hot chicks
-Big explosions
-Amazing special effects

That's pretty much what I expect going into ANY Transformers series (look at G1, the first 4 points I made ARE G1 lol) and I'm hoping that's what we get with TF 3. I love these movies the way they are and I hope Michael Bay won't change a thing.

 

Some kind of a betrayal by a main character like Sam.

 

Characters:

Another Decepticon with a Pave Low alt-mode
Allspark Creations (They'll find SOME way to put them in)
Constructicons (The 'Cons obviously have more, look at how many there were in TF2!)
A railgun (maybe one that turns into a robot? Shockwave?)
Laserbeak
Unicron
Tidal Wave (Since Michael Bay apparantly LOVES the idea of an aircraft carrier TF)

Overall:

Robots turning into stuff
Not much of a plot
Lots of action goodness
Dumb jokes
Hot chicks
Someone new I didn't mention in characters (I'm not a prophet here!)

 

Cybertron, Shockwave, and Omega Supreme!!!

 

Jokes that miss the mark, either potty or non-potty.

Characterwise I don't think it's a stretch to speculate:
Ultra Magnus: They're going to need a character that could "potentially" replace Prime, like in '86.
Prowl: I think Kruger's smart enough to bring him in if only for the sole purpose of having him face off against Barricade.
Blitzwing: Orci said that triple changers would be a good idea for TF3. I'm quite sure Kruger's seriously considered this as well.

 

Explosions, sun sets, characters shooting at nothing just to be shooting, some poor attempts at humor, the military easily beating the Decepticons, huge leaps of logic and physics, plus robots with the name but none of the personality of past robots.

If you've seen one Bay movie you've pretty much seen them all the only difference is the setting. Not really expecting anything that is not in Bay-formula to film making.

Perceptor and Soundwave giant satellite space fight.

 

Now THAT would be awesome.

 

Also not getting his voice back.

 

I expect that...

• either Prime, Bumblebee, Ironhide, or Ratchet will die (as in, forever). More than likely Ironhide or Ratchet.

• Soundwave will make it to Earth, and probably fuck somebody up.

• There will be even more robot screen time.

• at least 3 new Autobots will be introduced. 1 everyone will love, 1 everyone will get pissed about, and 1 that will probably be onscreen for about a minute.

• we will see at least 1 Autobot leave Earth.

• there will be absolutely no mention of Barricade.

 

Realistically?

At this point I think only a few things can be guessed with any chance of being right.

- Bumblebee and Optimus Prime will be in it, and will be central characters.

- Ratchet and Ironhide will likely make an appearance, but what role they will play is uncertain. It's possible that like ROTF, their impact on the story will be minimal.

- It's possible that a character based on Unicron will make an appearance.

- Between 1 and 5 new (named) Autobots will be introduced.

- There will be new Decepticons and they will outnumber the Autobots.

- Megatron and Starscream will appear and be central characters.

- Soundwave may get more screentime.

- Sam Witwicky will appear and be a central character.

- A "world-saving" artifact will play a role in the story.

- New characters sharing names and characteristics with as-yet-unused "iconic" characters (such as "Shockwave" and "Lazerbeak") may make appearances.

- There will be copious amounts of awesome and ZOMG!!!11!!!.

I expect to see some fighting robots that can transform into other things.
