Why is my walmart copy missing parts that were in the movie?

I thought this was suppose to be the "special edition" copy. So whats special about taking parts of the movie out?

Most dvds/blu-rays give you added footage!

Am i missing something here, did I buy the wrong copy!!!?

Well there's the part when the DOC got shot right before he could cut Sams head open.

And the parts when Magatron and The Fallen discuss him being a prime...

hmmm, interesting, i havnt watch my copy yet (i have the wm bd) I thought the running time listed on the back of the wm big screen edition had a longer running time that the other versions of the movie

I can say for certain I don't recall the second part at all, and I saw the film in IMAX.

In fact the first doesn't ring a bell either.

Sounds like you're just remembering things wrong.

 

Those were scenes in the various adaptations that were cut out of the movie before it got to theaters.

 

i think those were in the book, sorta an unfinished plot kinda thingy

 

Saw the movie in theaters 4 times and don't remember either of those moments. There's a part in the video game where that discussion takes place between the Fallen and Megatron, but not in the movie.
