There's a difference between subtitles and closed captions. The latter are generated by voice recognition software, hence all those wacky screw-up like 'Chugway' :lol

Well, they're very tired after typing out everything we watch as we watch it, having to change scripts as often as we change the channel, and all while living inside the TV.

That's awesome. I demand a Chugway repaint for Shockwave.

    Hasbro, do it.

Now that the discs are in stores, can anyone please confirm if these errors are also present in the official release?
I would do this myself, but the film won't be out in my country until december... :(

I wouldn't be surprised if Chugway ended up being a giant TF Meme.

Its unlikely there will be as many errors, though there may still be the occasional typo or difference from the script and the movie that could affect the subtitles.

Since your errors come from an unofficial copy, its entirely understandable. Those subtitle tracks are usually made by the people doing the unofficial releases, whose english is often substandard, leading to misheard words and phrases, or blatant babelfish-style mistranslations. There's been plenty of cases of bootlegs having crappy subtitles before, even to hilarious extent. For example:

winterson.com: episode iii, the backstroke of the west

    Engrish Two Towers Subtitles

one thing in the official release that i found strange was in the forest battle.
when optimus says to megatron- junkyard__________! Ithought it was junkyard prune, but the subtitles say-junkyard Crap!
