do you think sidways should have more screentime or soemthing then vote

 

I voted for I don't care. In my eyes, he still was part of one of the coolest scenes of the movie . . . even though he got punked by Sideswipe!!!

 

I'm not a big fan of sideways, so I didn't really care when he got killed

 

Every movie has minor characters. Sideways was one of them.

 

They should have just used Barricade instead of introducing Sideways.

 

I would have liked to see the Sideways character more fleshed out, maybe a backstory about how he was a Decepticon posing as an Autobot to make him more like his Armada/Cybertron character.

 

I thought so at first, since there was a toy, I had expectations that he'd get more screentime. But after consideration, I don't mind some characters just being there as canon fodder.

Though I would've liked a good clear shot of Sideways in bot mode, but other than that it's no big deal. Don't need to know his life story.

More screen time to at least see bot mode more clearly. But really, he is supposed to be sort of a coward, hiding behind larger 'Cons, and running away really suits his personality.

At least in the game, we get to see bot mode clearly and snipe bots  .

He definitely should. What was the point of having an awesome Transformer like him, in the film and then barely use him. At least have an awesome transformation scene, showing exactly what he is about, plus show his handiwork in the final battle.

 

Cannon fodder, is simply that cannon fodder. All wars have nameless casualties.

 

This. I'd have liked the Sideways character to be a reformatted Barricade. He can die, absolutely, but it would give closure to where the hell Barricade is.

Kind of like how the Scarecrow gets picked up in the beginning of The Dark Knight. Same deal.

 

Sideways was pretty much in the movie to show a badass action sequences where he gets violently killed. Same with pretty much alll the other cons

 

When I saw this thread...I seriously thought it was gonna be a poll on "is he alive or is he dead". Judging by what pops up around here...I wouldn't of been shocked.

My opinion, yes, he should of got more screen time, but hey, cannon fodder to show how hardcore Sideswipe is!

 

He needed a few lines, especially since the toy bio's built up the Sideswipe/Sideways rivalry.

 

When I vote more screen time, all I wanted was him and Sideswipe to actually have a fight scene. Not on cutting the other in half while he drives through your blade.
