    So, I know that there's a bunch a hate for this song, but listening to it for the first time since then, it doesn't sound that bad anymore. I think what mainly murdered this song the first time around was the music video, even though it was re-edited a couple days later. Rapper Guy is still a bit annoying but is much more tolerable than when we first heard this. To finish, this song is definatly not as good as the the orginal, but it isn't that bad either.

    Sorry, but Stan was grasping for straws with that one. It was pretty horrible.

    Both that song and New Divide took some growing with me. When I first heard New Divide I was like "ahhh really? Is that REALLY the new song for the movie?" then I grew to like it and loved it by the time movie time rolled around. The Touch I liked after a while too and now they are both some of my favorite songs.

    I lol so hard at all these people that were trying to get songs on the soundtrack, with Tyrese and Jewel and then Stan Bush ... only to find out the whole thing was already finished and released like a week later and half the songs weren't even in the movie (like Avenged Sevenfold, BUT WHY NOT DAMN IT?!)

    yeah, watch the 1986 G1 Transformers movie. it had the good version of the touch

    I actually liked the new The Touch from the start. I STILL have New Divide stuck in my head too. It's probably my favorite song now.

    The only parts of the song I like are when the lyrics "you've got the touch ... you've got the power" are sang in a high pitch. Stan's voice sounds great there.

    This song is amazing! Stan Bush rules. It just reminds me of G1 and being young! "You got the touch, You got the Poweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrr! YEAH!" :drool:

    Whilst scrolling the page down, I misread the title of this thread as "The Touch - Sam's mom." Can't we discuss touching Sam's mom instead of this bad rendition of a song?
