would you guys like to see them in cartoon?

I think it will be freaking good(I wish micheal will do something like this)

Gawd I hope not. While I don't suspect Bay's brand of Transformers will be the be-all of movie Transformers to come, the sob got to pop the cherry on modern day live action meets quality cg rendering for the big screen. Oldschool designs never seem to find their way past comic books nowadays, Animated just finished, likely never to be a Transtech continuation of Beast Machines, I don't think its fair that Bayformers would get all the bigscreen time only to turn around and take up tv slot time too. And you have to figure not all the voice actors would sign up for the show, so some voices would have to be replaced, and no matter how good someone is you can always tell when its someone different. Now don't get me wrong, the zany bathroom crudeness makes Bayformers an ideal candidate for television cartoonage. But I don't care to see it, especially not the Twins.

Sure, it was alright. My son loved it to death. I liked the constant nods to other series, and it was an entertaining toon all around. Some of the toys were damn decent as well. I'm just happy it got a somewhat solidified ending to it.

I would like it, as long as it focuses much more on the Transformers / has more Transformers storylines and not the heavy focus on humans and the American military like in the movie.

I could definitely see them do a new Transformers series that is much like G1 in scope and feel, but with the moviebots cartoonified.

NO WAY IN HELL! I don't want to see a cartoon about Sam, Mikaila (yes I know I probably spelled that wrong), and some random piles of trash with no personalities, held together by magnetism, jumping around and ripping each other to pieces.

Still, do I want to see TFs that don't even mourn over their dead, rip each other apart for extra pieces, and fight more like wild animals...well...no!

I wouldn't have a problem with it. They have two films worth of backstory and characterisation already set up so it could be quite special. I'm not overly sure what art style would suit it but I would at least like to see what could be done.

The movie made over $700m and the toys sell by the bucket load, a cartoon of the same universe wouldn't exactly hurt. But I want a minimum to be kept on the human side of things, I want to be soley a Transformers cartoon with the odd Sam moment or two.

There's no way for than to go 3D...but then it'll not be the same as the movie's quality and feel (I'm talking about the quality of the CG renders here). If they go for 2D, Animators will go ape-sh!t and quit after animating the 1st-minute sequence of it.

That's what the cartoon show is there for. To flesh out their personalities. You're assuming that this show would just be another movie directed by Michael Bay. If it did come into existence, it would have been made by different people.

    Chillout, dude.

I don't know it would have to be as different as the live action American Godzilla movie was to the Godzilla cartoon for it to be something I'd be interested in.

Week after week of Autobots killing Decepticons with no personalities would just get old. A good deal of the movie humor would have to be cut from the cartoon. Ugh and I just really don't like the twins at all so it would have be like the Clone Wars cartoon only using Jar Jar in a few episodes.

So if there were a lot of changes I'd give it a shot. If it was just an animated version of the same stuff we have been getting in the live action films then it was be an easy pass.

Absolutely not. Bayformers is okay and all that, but I think it's done enough damage, personally.
Besides; I'm crossing my fingers for a continuation of TF Animated.

God I hope you're right. I would personally love to see an animated incarnation of Bayformers, if they got the guys from Beast Wars to write it and a competent director to direct it.

I'll drink to that. After the steaming pile of horseshit that was the American Godzilla film, the cartoon series took me completely - and most pleasantly - by surprise. A Bayformers cartoon would have to pull off something similar to appeal to me.
