    WE NEED ONE O_O

seriously, me and my friend were talking about it and it just has so many random plot holes in it that Michael Bay really needs to just add like an hour or so of extra footage.

also it'd be nice if he would consider MORE than half the movie involving actually Transformers.

especially since the third one he want's to make the annoying guy like a lead role o_O , i think Michael Bay really wants off from making the third movie, like there is no way he's that dumb to just be like oh yea he's a great actor he should have the spot light..no..he's going to ruin the third one on purpose -_-.

but honestly its Transformers and now that i look back to it the only good parts of this movie were the fight scenes, the rest of it is just being a fan of Transformers makes you enjoy it. otherwise i'd be annoyed from the pointless humor and i see why it gets negative reviews. It wasn't really good acting at all, it was the fight scenes..the few but epic ones we got that saved it from being a total mess.

coming from the movie the only good Autobots who had decent camera time would be Jetfire & Optimus Prime, the rest had little to no screen time and when they did they just wasted it or had one or two cool fights that lasted mere seconds.

Michael Bay needs to CGI at least an hour worth of Transformers into the movie to fill some plot holes lol. SERIOUSLY :]

    that is all :p

How would more CGI fill "plot holes"? Lack of robot fights isn't a plot hole.

the movie featured too much human conflict and not enough Transformers

such as lack of arcee robots, or sideswipe or what happened to Skids & mudflap during the battle against Devastator?

CGI is what made them so its the only way to fill in some plot holes and include more Transformer time..

unless he can happen to grab every actor in the movie to film more scenes to edit in for those.

but otherwise theres random stuff, like where do and who are all these random Decepticons that show up at the end?

or the primes o_O  really, whats up with that? lol

why is it that only a Prime can beat a Prime..does that mean Megatron is a Prime since he in turn defeated Optimus and then Optimus defeats the Fallen?

hmm o_O . i never said hour long fights, more footage of the actual Transformers would be nice than the annoying humans -_-

Dude more CGI will NOT fill up plotholes, it has nothing to do with Human or Robot screen time its all mistakes in the plot, to fix them they'd have to rewrite the entire movie.

I disagree, they could, in fact, add little scenes such as Autobots in the aircraft carrier or revival of Blackout to explain some stuff such as the dreaded 6 RADARS thing (not that I have a problem with that, IMO it's just the Doctor being deployed, I mean, if some lesser radars can see fishes, why not military advanced radars catch up a fish-sized metal thing?)

Did he just say Revenge of the Fallen extended?

    I think he did.

Is he on drugs or something?

Maybe he thinks two and half hours isn't enough time to tell a decent plot?

Of course, with Bay, a two and half years wouldn't be enough time to tell a decent story.

...Why am I talking to myself?

    Because you're an ostentatious prick.

    Really?

    Yes.

    Awesome.

The problem I see with an extended edition at least for now is that to go in and add scenes to fill in plot holes or to add more CGI would be that it might hurt the release date of the DVD. It's likely they will want to it on the shelves for the winter holidays so I can't see them missing that date just to extend the movie. Perhaps later they can release it again with some added footage like they did with Spiderman 2.1

Instead of an extended edition I think it would be better to release a shortened more streamlined version of the film. Cut out some of the things we really didn't need or that really didn't add to film and it might flow a lot better.

Oh and an alternate audio track where where we got the original Soundwave voice would be nice. Perhaps a different voice for the twins as well.

I think what we need is a "Writers Cut Edition", not a directors cut. I think we already got that. May be shorter, may be longer, but cut by the writers. Would be interesting.

Hell yeah. I definitely think, even in the circumstances they were in, the writers had a better script than eventually got into the movie. It's hard to juggle something like that in between Bay, a writers strike, a toy company, a car company, and the army..

A shortened version would be better, specially if they cut the "driving through the desert" scenes, they added nothing, felt boring and were well, lame. Also some trimming here and there and we can have a better paced movie.

Primus made a good point, this was the Director's Cut, if anything I imagine it would be better to get, y'know, a DIFFERENT cut.

We all need to accept that fact that his movie was a wash, and just hope the third one is better.

I personally would love a directors cut, or special editon thats shorter. Lose a lot of the chaff like Sams parents at the college etc and just really trim it down.

I'm guessing it will have to a be a fan made version as its not going to happen is it :(

Edit: a Yes the to the Writers Cut that was suggested a few posts up.

That is an interesting idea and I'd give it a shot if something like were to ever happen.

I disagree! A better cut can change lots of thing, I was watching on my uhh... particular version of the movie and when jumping parts like Leo's two balls joke or the mother's brownie attact it's like...it's a whole different thing y'know, imagine if done right and not by some random guy on Media Classic Player.
