tfclub member jmq_2005 did the 3D image of ROTF Optimus Prime. It is AWESOME!!! ÃÔÓÑjmq_2005ÖÆ×÷3DµçÓ°2ÇæÌìÖù
Good lord.....that is a most amazing peice of 3D work. I wish I even understood half of the work that went into that so that my praise could be deeper.
That's got to at least be the character model from the video games, I have a hard time believing someone put that together in their spare time!
LOL thats the character model from the movie, jesus christ, you think a game system has that clear of an image? Hell no
pretty nice fan art I'd say it took him/her a few months to build that. this is an ILM render, from ben procters website http://www.benprocter.com/SITEv2/Graphics_Content/ZOOMPIC_Trans_Optimus_ILMFinal.jpg it's pretty spot on!!
Hey does that site have any good side and back views of prime at all?? I tried lookin around, but all I've got to work on is a phone. Thanks a lot!
That is awesome! The movie eyes are always so complex, you can see the individual moving parts so clearly. Nice!
This looks like the real deal to me. The render on Ben's site has more final lighting/ shadow passes and a few more dirt/grit texture passes and rendered with a more extreme POV lens but the model looks very, very similar to these wireframe images that were just found. The newer images look like the model has basic "clean" textures applied and the images look more like view port screen grabs from the 3d software rather than "renders" with final lighting and shadows. Either way, very impressive. Color me inspired.
Wow, the textures are so..., real looking at first gflance I thought it was a painted prototype from that Sideshow statue, until I noticed all the detail and the general CGI-ness (not an insult) of the more detailed areas.
Son of a bitch!! tHIS PIece is the business!!! I doubt it's official Dreamworks/Hasbro model thought.
