    I only liked premium leader megatron from the first one. Second movie, ugh!

    For one I just love his design. Both in the first and the second movie. The second mostly.
    IMHO I see Megatron as a hilarious, very smart, cunning, powerful and amusing cybertronian. The fact that he's the only one transformer that doesn't use an earthly alternate mode it's awesome. I can already hear him sayin': "I will never alternate to something this lame and detestful as this insects' things are. They....bother me!":lol 
    He prefers his cybertronian alternations. The awesome jet in TF and the even better jet-tank in TF2.

    Great points Covenant!

    Design: I like his design.
    Voice: I like his voice.
    Role in ROTF: didn't like him playing second fiddle - Megatron takes orders from no-one.
    TF3: Megatron has some big scores to settle - AWESOME!

    no. but you are the only one who thinks you are only one who thinks he was cool. all megatron needed to win was nab sam take him to egypt and then rip the fallen's spark out and stick it and sam in the sun harvester and voila a new allspark.

    Prime is a bad-ass. Megatron is a bad-ass.

    When they fight, sometimes one guy gets better shots in than the other. Sometimes its about equal. Sometimes one guy wins. Sometimes it's a draw.

    That's about all as deep as the analysis needs to go examining these movie fights in my opinion.

    You're not alone. ROTF Megatron was a much better character then in the first Bayformers.

    The first Megatron was nothing more than a bad joke. He was a generic anime monster with no mind. All he did was rampage like a barbarian, who had no plan, and just broke things. Optimus Prime couldn't even touch him in the movie but for some reason he was killed by humans...

    ROTF Megatron was really cool. First off he looked more visually appealing, with a decent new mode, and actually had a personality, and he used his mind.
    He was by far a superior Megatron then the first one.

    Megatron wasn't in the first movie for any longer than the last eighth of it. He wanted the all-spark and had been frozen and experimented on, wouldn't you be a little cranky after being frozen for so long? ;)
