I find both sides to be rather insane. You find people on both sides fighting over the movie like it was the only important thing to Transformers in the last 25 years. It's just one chapter in the history no matter how viciously we go at each other one day all this passionate fighting will be as useless as the Truck vs Monkey war.

Although it would be epic if we could ever get a cartoon, movie or a comic book where the Autobots and Decepticons went at each other with the same passion and drive that we go at each other with.

I'm not trying to 'fool' anyone. Look at my join date if nothing else.   And I've never claimed to have watched ROTF -- I did watch the first one twice and it was garbage to me. I was mistaken in thinking the second one was better until I learned a bit more about it...its just another pile of Garbage IMO. Obviously not yours but thats not my problem. Though it is amusing to be told Im not a fan because I dare to watch Harry Potter and dare to admit what I think of any of Bayformers BS....wheeee.... so are you really saying that the only way to be a 'real' Transformer fan is to lap everything up they laddle out to us, ask for seconds, and never ever watch anything else ever???  

No Im not a potter fangirl. I like the movies and just got one of the books earlier tonight but that is the extent of it. Its a good book/movie series and for that I am a fan of it but thats as far as it goes.

And yea I suppose I was trolling on this thread. I was in a really pissy mood and bayformer fans are so much fun to wind up.....

And the same thing can be said for the ones that love the movie going to extremes to let the rest of us know how stupid we are for hating the movies.... though really...what exactly /are/ the movie fans defending anyway??? Or are they really defending their own fantasies about what /they've/ always wanted to see for live action Transformers? Toy robot battles and mmm they want big explosions and some T&A tossed in for even more gratuitous eye candy? And since this movie is dead on to what they have envisioned how dare the fans that wanted something a bit more substantial say anything against it, eh? Thats really what it all boils down to IMO. Thats all its about. Those that love it had /their/ own fantasies made real and they will defend it at all cost. The ones that hate it so badly and are so vocal I would say do so because this storylines one shot to break out of the mold only catered to the worst aspects of the storylines potential...

 

Well for the record I don't care for "Michael Bay" that doesn't mean i don't like some of his movies but it happens to be Transformers (Something I grew up with)

And for the record if Michael Bay/Transformers bother you so much then why did you join up at this site? I love how people use the first amendment to bitch and complain to the extent that they try to force their will on other people..So you thought the first movie sucked (Even though you saw it twice... ) here's a question you have to ask yourself..

Why are you spending all your time complaining about this movie when #1 you haven't even seen ROTF and don't plan on seeing it..(That makes sense)

Here's an idea why not actually SEE the film then you have a right to voice your opinion until then say nothing...

And I love how some people always double back and try to act smart or "You didn't get it" posts..Well most people got it and since you keep coming back with that same TF & Michael Bay Sucks chant then I ask again why join a TRANSFORMER site? You joined in 2007 and what did you think the majority of the conversations would be about?

The movie was awesome. These douchebags who said it sucked are also the same people who think Megan Fox is ugly. Everyone of them had nerd-gasms from the opening titles till the end, and they'd jizz their pants if she even looked at them.

These words have zero meaning to me. Just saying.

Wasn't the best movie ever, but it didn't suck totally. Megan is hot, except for at the MTV movie awards where she looked like a robot with a giant forehead. As for everyone nergasming and jizzing.. The only way you'd know this is if A) you did it, or B) you were the janitor who cleaned the theatre afterward... either way eew..

 

ROTF sucked? I must have seen the variant version, cause it was kick ass.

 

I didn't mean at the same time, actually meant more in-person. And I'm pretty sure nerdgasming doesn't actually involve fluids.

 

Depends on the intensity of the nergasm I'd assume... There are some nerds who REAAAAAALLY love things too much..
