I saw nothing that attributed them as to being black caricatures. Because they couldn't read? Spoke broken english? Cursed? Had a gold tooth? I don't think so. There ain't nothing African-American about that! And if you think that there is...then its you who has the problem of identifying stereotypes. Watching them they came off more like slack-jawed ''Cletus'' from the Simpsons. Wanna-be street hillbillies. So the whole time I was watching them I saw two hicks who thought they were tough street thugs. Again...ain't nothing African-American about that!

I can see where you're coming from. Others might not agree. Each person is entitled to their own opinions.

That said, I'm pretty sure this topic's been discussed at length before.

 

Mods, could we get at least one sticky listing the movie controversies already discussed to death here, possibly one for each of the major ones that keep cropping back up? Some people purposefully look for racial stereotypes, and most of the time they see stereotypes where there actually aren't any. Pretty much can be summed up as a self-fulfilled prophecy.

Realistically, if the twins are any stereotype, they are "wiggers". For those who don't know:

The school I went to had a ton of wiggers. Extremely annoying at first, but you get used to them (well, used to ignoring them).
