Jetfire should've been the Enterprise!!!

    Not the starship or the aircraft carrier.

    I'm talking about the very first space shuttle, the prototype, named after the ship from Star Trek.

    The white/black scheme would've been extremely cool merged with Prime, and he would've been a nice homage to Astrotrain and Skylynx.

    Anyone else agree?

    No, he should have been the Starship Enterprise. That would be hilarious on so many levels.

    Also, I think they should leave the shuttle to one of the other said characters, Astrotrain or Skylynx.

    And he could have merged with Prime by becoming a new pair of pants for him like in Armada. Now that would have been cool.

    Except when most of the creative team behind Star Trek works on Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. :thumb

    Optimus-Jet Fire

    Did anyone notice that Optimus Prime looks "bigger" after defeating The Fallen and Megatron? When Optimus sheds his "jet pack" he looks inflated, then in the last scene on top of the aircraft carrier he looks "normal" again.

    Why did he not stay bigger?

    Star Trek and X-Men have done a crossover. Transformers and Avengers have done a crossover. X-Men and Avengers are in the same universe... this is totally feasible ;)

    Just because I want to be know-it-all, I would like to point out that the Enterprise is actually an 'Orbiter,' part of the Space Shuttle 'system.' Only when it is combined with the EFT and SRBs is it the Space Shuttle. By itself it's just an Orbiter.

    Optimus Prime in this continuity is a warrior without peer. He has no need for power up armour - he can win fights based purely on his own wit, skill and power.

    The only reason he seems inferior to Megatron in both the 2007 movie and the forest fight sequence (at the end, anyway) is because Prime cares about the collateral - in RotF, he was worried about Sam and that is what gave Megatron an opening. In the 2007 Movie they were fighting in a crowded city and Prime couldn't open up with all his strength for fear of hurting innocent bystanders. Megatron has no such reservations so almost always fights with his full strength.
