There was an official prequel to the first movie simply entitled Movie Prequel. Between the first film and Revenge of the Fallen there were: The Reign of Starscream, Alliance, and Defiance. They all fit within the two movies but you don't really need to read them in any order. As far as numbering they are all available in trade paperback form and readily available online. I wouldn't search for individual issues.
Thanks a lot, but I am precisely looking for information about the 2 movie prequels of ROTF. I remember they were going to have another name differente from Defiance and Alliance. I also need, if it's possible the release date of each issue.
