Bird would be an excellent choice for bringing G1 or Animated to the big screen. Especially Animated.

I'd love to see his take on the TF universe. The Iron Giant always chokes me up, and it's been one of my favorite movies for a very long time. I don't think that it would've had the same impact had someone else directed it.

I think we could have a movie from Brad Bird and have a PG-13 approach. The violence would be turned up a notch, of course, but not nearly as intense as ROTF, and still have enough wow and oomph to please the action junkie in all of us.

Skip the foul content, give the story and characters a lot of heart, and keep the violence above PG, but below ROTF. I think that's entirely possible, but we'll probably never see it. I'm not sure Bird would even be interested in doing this. To be honest, I'm not sure he could, due to contractual obligations, if any exist. Though with Disney owning Dreamworks now, it could be possible.

Ah well. Not much we can do about it, really.

I'm sorry you and your grandmother have no taste. That's a shame.

Maybe the two of you can watch some Golden Girls re-runs instead.

Of course I'm not joking! Only an idiot would believe I'm joking!

Does Disney really own Dreamworks, or am I just really gullible?

A CG animated movie would be nice. But I really don't want anything Disney related in Transformers. We got that lame Mickey Mouse TF thats as far as TF's relationship with Disney is going to go.

If Dreamworks did it, then yes. Well , Dreamworks produced both TF movies.

Hm... I'm thinking of the future and TF3... same cast of characters, same actors, ILM still doing all the CGI, same look for the robots... but Brad Bird in place of Michael Bay... hmmm hm hm.... could be interesting.
