#1 | | I miss the 80s Join Date: May 2009 Posts: 387 | Here's a cool ROTF story
Went to see ROTF again this past weekend. Before the movie we stopped at Target, there was a little boy on a cell phone talking. He was saying the twins were hilarious & Devastator was awesome. He was looking at the deluxe toys & was saying "who's Smokescreen???". Didn't have anything bad to say about the movie. It was really cool!
Then we went to buy our tickets. A couple with a little girl about 7-9 years old came up behind us. I was positive they were there to see Ice Age or Up. I stayed to hear what they were going to see. The father says "2 adults & 1 child for Transformers." 
NO FRIGGIN WAY!!!!! They get their tickets & the little girl is all excited & is skipping & bouncing towards the door. I was in shock! That was the coolest thing ever!
Dammit! Why couldn't girls be into Transformers back in the 80's & 90's? |

I was exposed to this kind of humor etc when I was a kid but my parents always told me when it was not appropriate to repeat it. I hope this girl's folks are as good. | |
