The Constructicons, I thought they were a complete non event. At least Rampage got his own fight scene, but Mixmaster, Scrapper and Long Haul were non existant besides a couple of seconds at the bottom of the ocean, then getting blown up by an airstrike (or in Mixmaster's case, having the embarassment of being easily killed by a geriatric robot).

 

Devastator definitely. He only gets to take on the twins and excavate the pyramids before getting blasted to scrap. I wish the Constructicons hadn't been turned into silent generics and actually been the ones to fight NEST in their combined form before scurrying off on Megatron's orders.

I would've said The Fallen, but he actually had less screentime in the early scripts (Megatron is the one who delivers the ultimatum broadcast in the novelization and comic adaptation). Any more screentime and he may well have come across as the real Decepticon leader, rather than an old mentor whose plan Megatron chose to carry out this time after his own one failed. But I was disappointed the revelation he had fooled Megatron into believing he would make him a Prime was cut out.

I also feel NEST overall, that includes Lennox and Epps, just didn't have enough screentime. Budgetary limitations meant they couldn't have Ironhide at his commander's side during the briefing, or have Ratchet try to save Sam or Optimus' life (how moving would that've been)? They were forced aside during rewrites for the Twins and Jolt (who only just about justifies his previous existence as a background extra).

All of them. But if I had to choose one, it'd be Devastator. He was just THERE, and did little to nothing.

Definitely. I loved Arcee for all the 30 seconds we got of her/them.

Also, more of the individual constucticons would have been good throughout - that would have made the appearance of Devastator that much better if we were familiar with them as individual bots and them WHAM! you think they're gonna transform and attack, but instead they combine. But hey, they went with a different slant on the whole thing there.
