I like the idea that the first poster had. With minor tweaking here and there, I can totally see it working.

I like the OP's thoughts. Those can definitely work. I personally feel the Autobots need some more struggles like we had in ROTF with Prime dying. Some posts above mentioned some more Autobots dying - I would go with that idea. An overall darker theme in TF3 is needed I think.

The great thing about sci fi is that it lets you take on topics that society normally wouldn't look at so I hope that the Transformers films will be able to touch on the topics people don't want to touch anywhere else.

Since Humans might not see the difference between Autobots and Decepticons it might be interesting to see how the Autobots will deal with the fall out from the destruction of one of the ancient wonders of the world or human cities being attacked. Can they over come Human fear and hate?

Since sci fi movies have so many avenues open it would be nice to get themes bigger than just Sam growing up. If G1 could tackle the issue of energy or Beast Wars could tackle picking a side is more than slapping on logo then I think the movies could handle bigger trickier topics than the cartoons.

Is the whole "no more robots in disguise" thing even that big of a relevation. Even though they hid everything from the Mission City battle there's no denying people (who were there) know what happened there

I really think there is potential for some difficult issues of war to be raised as well as the distrust and fear humans may feel toward all Cybertronians. It'd be nice to see a little bit of the devastation caused by the Autobot-Decepticon War on Cybertron and the reasons behind why the war started (it's gotta be more complex than just Megatron wanting to get the Allspark-why did he want the Allspark's power in the first place? Surely he had his own beliefs about what was the best way to use its power?). And with knowledge of the potential devastation that could result from the continued war between the Autobots and Decepticons, some humans are unlikely to welcome the presence of any Cybertronians on Earth, even if some of them are trying to protect them from Decepticons. It'd be interesting to see Optimus Prime making a difficult decision as to whether their presence on Earth is indeed endagering humans or whether their presence is now necessary to protect them.

Then there's the issue of some humans maybe wanting to advance their weaponry with Cybertronian technology and putting pressure on the Autobots to share their weapons technology. How does Prime contend with this demand from humans? Maybe even some of his Autobots might be feeling under threat from humans that seem to wish to 'take them apart' for research.

The comments many made about movie Prime in ROTF being more ruthless and quick to eliminate his enemies could also be addressed too. Maybe they could somehow show this Prime's moral dilemna of 'kill or be killed' and his attitude of sad resignation to the fact that he must continue killing his foes if he and the Autobots are to survive and have any chance at winning the war. The War on Cybertron for the Autobots was about survival as well as the protection of the Allspark from the hands of the Decepticons.

Movie Prime's difficult position as a leader may even be demostrated by some hard decisions he's had to make in the past on Cybertron and/or will have to make on Earth. Prime's surely had to make alot of terrible and guilty decisions in all the time he has served as a military leader on Cybertron. He may even have had to sacrifice Autobots before to prevent the Decepticons from getting what they wanted. The Optimus Prime of the movies may well be a darker, war-torn version of G1 Prime.

All hail the mighty Black Convoy-Sama!

While the US government might be a bit squeamish about making deals with the Decepticons it might be interested if some other government felt threatened by the American/Autobot team up and was willing to make deals with the Decepticons. The Decepticons might even feel that given the self destructive nature of humanity giving them advanced weapons might speed up the destruction of the humans.

My ideas:

•no sex jokes or toilet humor

•make it have a dark, serious tone, like district 9

•have autobots get killed. Make the decepticons twice as strong/powerful

• common themes could be nihilism, misanthropy, and war

•far less humans, instead focus on the depeticons and their personalities, because we know the autobots very well, but not the deceptions.

• having galvatron/unicron would be nice, but not necessary.

•more combiners

These are great ideas to be touched on. In ROTF they kind of touced on Prime and the Autobots unwillingess to share their weapon technology so they could definitely work something with that.

I really like your idea of mentioning something about Optimus Prime's "kill or be killed" attitude. Although I am a fan of his new, more darker attitude it would be nice to hear from Prime just why he's so fast to pull the trigger at a defensless Con.

Unless Galvatron is a sepeate entity from Megatron I wouldn't like the idea too much. I'm so tired of seeing Megatron reinvented into Galvatron. I like your idea of Unicron though. I think Unicron can be worked into TF3.

-Not gonna happen. Like it or not, the audiences love this kind of humor, and with this much money being made, it ain't going away anytime soon.

-Not gonna happen. It's a movie partially aimed at kids. Sam won't be turning into a Transformer while constantly muttering "Fookin' prawns!"

-This one I somewhat agree with, but again, unlikely.

-So, "Transformers: Buckets of Blood" then? Again, it's a movie partially aimed at kids. Not gonna happen.

-CGI is very expensive. The humans aren't going away anytime soon. The Decepticons do need a little more time to themselves, though.

- Galvatron: yes, but as a separate character from Megatron. Unicron: hells no, he's been done to death. If anything, do something with Violen Jiger, or another more obscure villain that the writers can play with rather than rape anyone's childhood.

- Sadly, very likely. Remember what ate up a ton of the film's budget last time? Devastator. So, if you want more expanded robot screentime and personalities, you're gonna have to sacrifice the desire for a shitload more robots.

my idea is that..... well if u think about it, cybertron is a planet like ours, and im not sure whether they have countries but they do hav places like trypticon or watever watever yeh? So i was thinking, these leaders of these provinces ( whom would be decepticons) come down to aid megatron or sumfin like that, therfore it'd be an epic way to finish the trilogy!

Its So Delectable!...............
