I figured he was reffering to Megatron since Megs was just hiding and trying to tell him to retreat. 
Turk: That's Optimus Prime and I don't think he'd appreciate being called the big ugly one!

| that's how i remember the quote, and i think he means himself. powerful words indeed, since he's saving meg's ass the way he(characteristically speaking) saves his: by being a coward.
i really like this quote, it touches me as one of the most memorable ones, and makes starscream starscream.  Quote:

It was more along the lines of "Not to call you a coward, but sometimes cowards survive..." It was basically a way of saying LET'S GET OUTTA HERE BEFORE THE AUTOBOTS MESS US UP. A very G1-esque retreat move. |

Actually, there were several powerful (yet completely undeveloped) moments in the dialog of this movie; my person favorite being what Tyrese said about being created in God's image and then about Optimus "... who created him?".
