I thought Prime should have stayed dead
This would be a great setup for Wheeljack and Hot Rod and Ultra Magnus.
Due the lack of any screen time for many of the robots, they should killed off some Autobots. Most likely Jolt, The Twins, Rachett and Prime...which would lead to new storylines and Robots |

I can see your point about making room for other characters, but in the minds of a lot of people Transformers = Prime. |

Most likely Jolt, The Twins, Rachett and Prime...which would lead to new storylines and Robots |    dude they did that in the 1986 animated movie and the backlash was enormous and Bay wisely avoided a repeat of that mistake and as for him comming back to life in part 3 that would have risked a massive turn off caused by prime's death and could have lead to poor ticket sales killing the 3rd movie what was done was handled very well
