- Option 1 - Bumblebee didn't know Alice was a Decepticon and was just harassing her to drive her off and prevent problems between Sam and Mikaela. Best evidence for this, I think is that Bumblebee obviously doesn't provide Sam any other warning about Alice. After all, the next scene after Alice leaving the car is Bumblebee and Sam arriving at the cemetary to meet Optimus Prime. Surely, if BB had known Alice was a Decepticon, he would have found some way to elaborate that to Sam on the drive to the meeting; voice problems or not, he could have conveyed it somehow. On the other hand, BB hit Alice really hard and, if he didn't think she was a Decepticon, he was being quite rough on a human.
- Option 2 - Bumblebee knew Alice was a Decepticon and was trying to warn Sam. Best evidence for this is BB attacking her so violently, perhaps intended to show Sam "hey, I just ran her head into the dash and she's not bruised or bleeding or anything". It would make sense that Bumblebee should be able to detect a Decepticon in that close vicinity. But then, it doesn't explain why BB didn't try to convey Alice's true nature to Sam during the drive....and why BB didn't find some way to hang around the university just in case Alice went after Sam again.  | |

Bumblebee knew Mikaela was Sam's girlfriend, and he's good friends with her (Remember Transformers).
That's why he played all those cheating songs and the "Jaws" theme. Because cheating would be a mistake. The bank flip was not as hard as some make up to be. She'd probably be really dizzy, worst-case scenario. The "Houston, we have a problem" bit refered to Optimus and Galloway's hysteria. | |
