Tell me why everyone wants DinoBots in TF3?

I'm going to maintain the view that if we ever get Dinobots they'll be cars/tanks/whatever that transform into Dinosaurs (think alternators Ravage/Jaguar).

Which would be AWESOME.

Late to the topic as I might be, I'd just like to add I don't wish to see Dinobots in the Bayformers universe, yet at the same time I can safely presume they could fit right in. What with robotic one-eyed felines, giant metal scorpions, and machine bugs that reform into paper thin cybernetic chickens of death, I do believe ginormous robosaurs (think cross between what you might imagine a G1 Dinobot rendered by ILM to be, then RotF Cybertronian Megatron-ize the living shit out of it) that breath fire & such would be ideal 'plot progressors' for Mikey. That or they could just pull a War Within, call them "Dynobots", then give them all giant Cybertronian war machine alt modes.

But it'll never happen. And to any hardcore Dinobot lovers still hopeful it might, they should realize that would such characters actually show up in the movieverse they would likely in little to no way resemble those of yesteryear.

Not wanting to read umpteen pages I'll just state that the Dinobots could be Elite Autobot Shock Troopers who arrive to kick Decepticon tailfins. They are there for one reason and that's to fight. So their alt mode choice would be something that could do even more damage than their robot modes.

Hiding in plain sight wouldn't be on their to do list.

Well, me and AlphaOmegaBlurr are working on a TF3 Fan Fic at the momment and we've decidded to leave them out too, I think it best they were left for the Cartoons.
