    You do realize that your source is a forum-like atmosphere where anyone can post errors. How about you post contintuity errors and such from IMDB too. And the fucking title of the site is "Movie Mistakes." What are you really expecting too see by going to that site....wait for it....wait for it...movie mistakes.

    Yeah it reminded me of the IMDB goofs section.
    There are a lot of valid issue, but at some point you just got to let them go...

    Very true, but thank you for reminding me about this site. I love ready all the little editing mistakes that don't catch until you get the DVD. Like this one;

    All movies have these of course, but they're still very fun to read.

    Dude, they point these errors out for EVERY movie. It is a site dedicated to movie errors after all... ROTF isn't anything special.

    Another fun one,

    Meh, they did whole "Cup Full, Cup Half Empty, Cup Full Again" in The Thing (1982). Only it was with Ice which constantly vanished and reappeared in MacReady's cup to my recollection :p .

    Movie Errors are just a thing that will always be present in films. Some are noticable, some aren't. I certainly don't like to waste my time trying to find them out unless their painfully obvious.

    I like finding errors. It's fun sometimes (like this where it's mostly production stuff that got through). But I don't really like it when the plot itself gets nitpicked to death.

    And let me clarify: I'm not trying to say ROTF is a perfect movie, it has glaringly huge plot holes and we all know what they are, but past a certain point the nitpicking just gets annoying. I guess it has more to do with the context of the nitpicking and the attitude behind it.

    This was fun though.

    Sub meant to say "I'm NOT trying to say ROTF is a perfect movie.

    Lol, :D  Seriously though, who cares if the glass has 6 oz in it in one scene and 6.5 in the next. This gets a bit silly, I am glad they take this as a fun project and not as a bash.

    cant believe some jackass pointed out that there is no sound in space, and countinued to claim soundwave making noises when attaching himself to the satellite was a mistake. Its a movie, how else is the audience get it.

    I have to say that I read many of the "Nitpicker's Guide to Star Trek" books and the like. I'm a fan of finding flaws in the movies I enjoyed. It's not about "Turning your brain off and having fun", it's about leaving it ON AND NOTICING THE LITTLE THINGS...

    I noticed a few of these myself, but still enjoyed the movie; is there a problem with that?
