Epic shit, sure. While you're at it why not call in the Wachowski's too? I mean you do want to utterly ruin the franchise, right?

Cuz that's what your post implies.

Honestly just keep Michael Bay & Writers. Their direction is bringing millions to the franchise. When this trilogy is finished, just wait a few years, then let someone have their shot.

I don't have a problem with the current line up of Bay and the existing writers as I think they've done pretty well and the numbers seem to back them up, whether you personally liked the end result with either movie or not. The script for ROTF was rushed due to the writer's strike and that's why it suffered. As far as having fans write the script, no thanks. Chances are it could be something great for the fans, but would alienate the average moviegoer and defeat the purpose of mass releasing a movie to the public in the first place.

QFT.

If anything, the one thing that future persons who make TF movies need to keep in mind is " IS this movie going to do well with the general audience?"

I think that he can write decent dialogue, but the real problem would be his human characters. I've enjoyed Hunter/Verity/Jimmy, but loads of others haven't, and I can't think of any others written by Furman who are too popular.

I say keep Bay, Roberto, and Alex, with Furman as a script consultant.
