The script for ROTF was rushed due to the writer's strike and that's why it suffered. As far as having fans write the script, no thanks. Chances are it could be something great for the fans, but would alienate the average moviegoer and defeat the purpose of mass releasing a movie to the public in the first place.

If anything, the one thing that future persons who make TF movies need to keep in mind is " IS this movie going to do well with the general audience?" |

I've enjoyed Hunter/Verity/Jimmy, but loads of others haven't, and I can't think of any others written by Furman who are too popular.
I say keep Bay, Roberto, and Alex, with Furman as a script consultant. |
