Personally, I loved ROTF, due to more Robots, and I found it much more exciteing than TF1.

Damn, actually a tough question. TF1 got me back into Transformers, but I think I had more fun during ROTF... I have to watch it again before I vote.

I like TF2 more, more action-packed, more TF, more dialogue and close-ups.
I do think 1 wins with its lack of robots and on-screen time cause it sorta built up some suspense. Still I prefer TF2.

I actually liked more the first one, it was much more exiciting to see the transformers in live action for the first time, the transformations and how they were protrayed, true, they had much less screentime, but each minute they were in was fantastic, Sam trying to hide them in his house was hilarious, and the autobot arrival is the only time in my life I've shed a tear of joy, olus the ending speech was wonderful. ROTF had iconic moments, but not as good as the first one.

agreed. Was such an up-hill battle, yes he died but Screamer was closed to being slagged and Grindor GOT slagged.

I liked the first one more. This one felt kind of "weak" compared to the last one. The first had a lot more "focus" since it was able to have most robots have sufficient screen time.

I don't know. ROTF had better effects, but TF1 had a cleaner script.

    I'll say TF1.

Yes! As much as I loved the first movie, this one blows it out of the water.

I rather see Optimus Prime kick ass than be thrown around like a hooker in TFTM...

I would have probably enjoyed this one more had I not spoiled myself. I went into the first with limited knowledge of production and not knowing what to expect, and was blown away. This time I was not able to experience that same surprise TF1 gave me.

The 1st movie had a magic to it, simply because we had never seen or heard something like that before. But it also didn't have a LOT of things that, as a Transformers fan, it needed to have.

The 2nd one lost a lot of the magic because it only upped the ante slightly from the first one. However, it had a LOT of the stuff that the fans wanted.

I give the edge to the first one for being groundbreaking.

ROTF was good but ya , the story could have been shortened a bit , I think the audio in the theater wasn't too good so it was hard to hear what was beeing said.

That's kinda tough. Both TFs movies had things that i appreciated very much. I guess the 1st movie had a tighter story and the sense of awe and wonder, but the amazing battles in ROTF were what we all wanted badly to see in the 1st movie. I think i'll go with ROTF, but that's not forgetting the ground laid by the 1st movie.

I prefer the first Movie. It was better paced, the plot was not as riddled with plotholes and the humor was just the right amount and level. The movie was overall put together much better IMO.
