It's a movie son. Not time for everyone to sit down and tell you there life stories. Jolt has electricity flowing through his hands and helped Ratchet put Jetfire's parts on Prime, Sideswipe is a bad ass solider. That's all you need to know. If you wanna know more read a book.

Has anyone taken the time out to think that if we "fans" did not demand so much in the movieverse that maybe they would not cram shit together and could come up with a plausible script and story? Don't be so hard on Bay or the writers guys, they are trying to please a shit load of people and it doesn't make sense to put down on them for that. The special effects alone in these movies are so damn realistic that they should be enough to please an average moviegoer. I know as die hard fans we tend to dissect every single frame of these movies but does anyone realize how much pressure is put on those guys who make these movies for us?

The bottom line...regardless of whatever franchise we discuss...they would do best having a fan of that franchise make the film...then it will do better boxoffice wise...because the story will jive with canon and history of that franchise...Bay is not a fan of transformers and should not have been one to make these films...i personally would rather have had a fan at the helm than bay...just my opinion though....

I agree with you on this but that's who they picked and that's who we got. I think if people would go in with an open mind, they would appreciate it more. That's the point I was trying to get across.

I absolutely can't stand it that some people really look back to the low budget G1 show that had tons of different writers and a few different animation studios shitting out episodes as quickly as possible all at once and use that to justify the problems in these movies. There's no way a movie with this much money behind it and only one set team of dedicated people working together on one "defined" vision should have so many issues. Just excusing it because some other media had some similar flaws (in a much more understandable fashion no less) is completely unfounded.
