I'm talking Marvel Studios as an independent entity where THEY actually have full control over their properties. They've only done 2 movies thus far; Iron Man and the Hulk reboot.
Point taken.

I would have thought that they'd always have a little more say though...since they ARE their own company, instead of being owned by a corporation themselves. But darned if I can ever completely understand the grand scheme of things theatrical or broadcasted.

Oh...but Marvel was who insisted that Venom be in Spider-Man 3, right? So that's a reverse example of them having power over the studio, no?

(BTW is it me or were the black costume being "narm" and Venom being Bane-d [BAAAAAAAAANE! BOOOOOOOMB!] both Take Thats on Sam Raimi's part, as he didn't want to use the character in the first place?)

I won't argue that the stuff Marvel had most of the control over has been great, though...Iron Man, duh. Though Incredible Hulk was no slouch either. I'd like to see more, more, more :-) And the whole Avengers thing is brilliant. (Creatively, of course. But also imagine the box set of all the movies plus the Avengers movie they could eventually sell. Genius! Seriously.)
No neon colors? I can look at these Transformers without going blind? WAHHHHH IT'S NOT...GEETEW!

I just think that a new edit would help the film tremendously, remove a lot the crude humor, change the dialog for some of the robots, and add a couple more robot scenes to connect the plot and give us more robot action.

i just saw rotf, and i was pretty damn dissappointed. i'm really glad i didn't fight the masses to go see it opening night.

the 'cons were weak. i'm really unhappy with devastator, he was cool looking, but you could've completely removed him from the movie and it wouldn't have made a difference. not to mention he was getting worked over by mudflap. the fallen was a nancy as well, he's supposed to be some bad m-fer, but did he even hit prime once? i don't think he even gave prime a menacing look.

the good to me was that the twins were hilarious, jetfire was amazing, and megan fox is hot.
