That's all it is, just a fun, silly movie with cool ass robots beating each other up in some parts. Why's that such a big deal?
Could it have been better? Sure.
Could it have been worse? Oh most definitely.
Yes I see people arguments about low brow humor, appealing to lowest denominator, etc. etc. But it's just a fun movie.
I feel sad for the people that are so high strung and wound up they can't even allow themselves to enjoy a goofy yet very cool movie. That movie had some absolutely amazing scenes, battles, and special effects, and it was rather enjoyable to watch. And the more times I watched it the more I enjoyed it. I notice more details with each viewing, and again, it's just a FUN movie.
People won't even allow themselves to have fun. They've got all these feelings and childhood memories and all kind of baggage and expectations and hype built into the film that it could never, ever live up to. Just try to enjoy it, if you still hate the movie after that, that's cool it's your right to do so, but then move along and don't try and ruin it for the people who did enjoy the movie.
You'd think this would be such a fun time to be a serious fan, yet all anyones been doing for a week now is arguing and calling each other idiots. It's pathetic. Enjoy it or move along and wait for the next thing and hopefully the next thing will make you happy. And if not, go back and watch the cartoons/comics that DO make you happy and be glad you've got something in your life that brings you happiness.
Millions of people starving to death every year and we're in here acting like morons arguing over a robot movie. Nice to know we've all got perspective about what's really important in life. |

I watched movies like Ghostbusters, Gremlins, Jurassic Park, and even E.T. which all had language in them, language which my parents taught me wasn't ok to talk like, and I never talked like that.... er at least until I was in high school, and even then I seldom used it, and still seldom use it (unless I get really pissed... or really excited xD).
I would have FUCKING LOVED these movies as kid, and I'm sure the language wouldn't have stuck with me | Well that would require this thing called "Parenting". Which apparently became extinct and erased from human history in 1989. |

at the end of the day, Revenge of the Fallen is a very flawed movie. The plot is left for dead 2/3 of the way through the film. Some of the jokes are totally inappropriate/unwarranted. Characterization was left at the bottom of the ocean like Megatron. To be fair, the critics made valid points 85% of the time. I don't think that they should be given so much abuse.
| Its politics man. People think that if you hate the movie, then you hate Transformers and do not want to see it prosper. This is not true. TF3 is our only hope for a successful Transformers Film |

So shut it ye haters. You gotta learn to have fun at $10 a movie ticket. And remember all those starving people! They should be grateful Bay spent $200 million on this movie so they could have fun too!

This is exactly how i feel. Was it a "good" movie? No! But it wasn't supposed to be! Regardless, it was mounds of fun, and I can't wait to see it a fifth time. Quote: |
