How does megatron have two alt modes in ROTF?

    when he gets brought back from the water grave...he clears the water and transforms into an aerial alt mode...it looks triangular to me like a cybertron seeker mold..war within shape ...then flies to the ship and hangs out for a while....

    later in the later parts of the movie...he goes into this aerial alt mode when traveling to the desert area near the pyramids....

    I could not tell if it was his aerial mode from TFTM or if it is some mashnash form of the aerial plane and tank put together....


    any ideas?

    Triple changer - though the jet form is just the tank with wings.

    Like everyone else has said, he is still a tank but with wings, similar to the voyager set

    He's a triple changer. Basically, his flight mode is the tank but with wings.

    I don't think so about the tank with wings idea....his tank mode is a large square brick shape...and the few times he transformed...he went into a triangular aerodynamic shaped form....NOT a tank form....

    The toy voyager Megatron tank has what looks like 2 pairs of cute wings and I am not sure how those cute wings make the tank fly but in Cybertron, I heard that anything is possible.
