In another thread, I mentioned that I liked Soundwave because he actually served an actual purpose to the Decepticons as well as serving a purpose to the story.

Not only does he have an actual role in the movie but his personality is portrayed just as he is protrayed in the movie.

Although he didn't fight, I think he made a bigger impact in the story doing what he did as opposed to him coming down to earth and possibly getting his ass kicked by the US military (and the Autobots)

Anyways, Soundwave's role really pleased me because he did what he was supposed to do. Now if Soundwave's role pleased me and alot of other fans, imagine how happy we would all be if:

- Ratchet helped heal wounded Autobots
- Ironhide showed off his brute force with his cannons, and how badassed he truly is
- Arcee had a connection with Mikaela as BB did with Sam

Or basically any Transformer character have just a few minutes of screen time doing exactly what they would do from the cartoons

If I saw those things happening, I think that would be quite enough to have me fully satisfied

 

Arcee should only have a connection with little boys.

it would have been nice if the bots got more screen time.

I liked how soundwave did his job. He did the spy thing and gave his team info that they needed.

I like that starscream got more screen time and that he was just like his g1 character.

 

wow when you think about it

Starscream had less dialogue in the first one but did more damage

He had way more dialogue in the 2nd one but did way less compared to the first one

I would have really enjoyed if Soundwave would have said "___________ inferior, _________ superior"

 

Gotta save that gem for TF3 

 

i thought the same............dont really care SS didnt do much in ROTF because he took out multiple f22s and autobots in the first movie.

Cons overall seemed stronger in the first movie even tho there are so many of them in the second.

 

soundwave is the biggest ace card for TF3....the decepticons have compromised earth's communications and the fleshlings are not even aware of it....so definitely the decepticons are going to have the advantage until they slag soundwave with an anti-sat missle....

BOOM! no more soundwave....

 

Tha Autobots did most of the work the military snuck up behind the Deceps and hit them while they weren't looking.
