why dinobots can be in the movie

    because the writers cast explanation into the wind and just role with it.
    female transformers explanation? oh well
    the fallen speaking a human language? do worry about it
    robots turning into dinosaurs? fine w/ me.

    One solution is for the Dinobots to use Cybertronian dinosaur alt modes. In the movieverse there are a few who did not use earth alt modes such as Megatron and the Fallen. It is possible for a protoform to arrive on earth and decide to use a Cybertronian alt mode that looks like a dinosaur. These dinosaur shapes could've been previously scanned in Cybertron or on a planet visited by the protoform and the dinosaur shape was saved in memory for future use.

    It's really for the best if they don't show up. I'd rather not see them at all than see them misused.

    Better if Dinobots show up rather than female bots. Fuck!-- all of us will be watching a Transformer love story in the 3rd movie if female bots show up!

    Ok, it would still be stupid.

    If they have some alternate mode other than fucking dinosaurs, it'd be fine.

    If it absolutely HAD to be done.......................

    I'd like to see the dinosaur alt-modes cameo in their first appearance. I imagine the Autobots setting up a sting operation in some amusement park, dino park etc. The unsuspecting Decepticon passes a small group of animatronic dinos that turn out to be Grimlock etal waiting to pounce.

    After this, they can re-format into more realistic modes for the rest of the movie (a la the Twins in ROTF).

    well seeing as the dinobots in g1 was nothing more than child entertainment i doubt they would have any sort of place in a live action film. yes they were cute and stupid for a reason in the cartoon but come on. seriously just get over it. i would rip my eyeballs out if bay made an attempt to put them in a movie for the reason that he might just date-rape the hell out them and the fact they wouldnt make any sort of sense at all.
