when megatron flies back to the nemesis:

what should have happened was megatron should have met up with soundwave in orbit, soundwave should have then breifed megatron on whats been going on and were the fallen is hiding, then the two of them should have headed to the nemesis to meet up with starscream and the fallen. The scene would then continue on as normal only this time soundwave would have his robot mode and a few more lines helping to explain what the next moves are. Megatron could explain how he is still damaged, thats when the fallen could tell him that he has a new body for him ready to upload.

doing this would make the movie better because it would give the fans more soundwave screen time, as well as give the fans a look at one of (if not thee) most anticipated characters of the sequels robot mode.It would also explain why megatron is now a tank


when alice reveals herself as the pretender:

what should have happened was mikayla doesnt kill her, instead barricade cuts sam's getaway car off and alice forcibly throws sam and company into barricades back seat. barricades lights turn on and barricade transports them to the abandoned building (instead of the helicoptor). The events would then continue on the same only this time the forest battle will be megatron, starscream, and barricade. optimus would kill baricade in this scene instead of "grindor".

doing this would make the movie better for a number of reasons. the first being it would illimintae the confusion of grindor/black out. instead of using a copied cgi rendering, we would have been able to use an allready completed cgi model of a bot who didnt die in the first movie, and then get closure on the character. including barricade would have also pleased fans more than using a rehashed no name (grindor)


Misc. Changes:

Soundwave should have said "ravage eject: operation retrieval" upon releasing ravage to earth. Something so simple, but so very effective.

after the battle was over, megatron should have asked soundwave for a report. soundwave would have said that his calcultaions compute a very low chance of survival. Starscream would then say that if he were in charge things would have been different (he should not have admited to be cowardly, that was just stupid, especialy since this starscream is a lot more capeable than g1's version).

Thanks for reading. I feel these very small changes would have made the movie GREATLY better. The best part is that they arent even very big changes, they are things that could have very easily been included with out worrying about extra length/costs. I feel these are these are things the writers should have thought about and included. They are so simple and obvious its almost ridiculous as to why they were not thought of.

But I was extremely happy with Soundwave but his robot would of made him my favorite.

I nearly crapped my self when he said "Soundwave Acknowledges"

I disagree with the first idea honestly. The thing with Soundwave would feel kinda tacked on, like let's just show him in robot mode to show him in robot mode. Then he goes back to floating in space and doing his thing. Plus, Megatron was rebuilt in the trench, that's why Scalpel had the others kill the one decepticon, for parts to rebuild Megatron. That scene in general could have been done a bit better, but the whole thing with the Fallen giving him a new body seems unneeded.

I don't think the scene you describe with Alice and Barricade would play out very well, just picturing it it seems kinda off. And I think Prime facing off with little Barricade along Megatron and Starscream wouldn't seem as badass as throwing Grindor in there.

Do agree with "Ravage Eject..." though.

Loved all your ideas. Thumbs up. Especially the Megatron / Soundwave chat, since Megatron always held Soundwave in high esteem.

 

you're entitled to your opinion, so dont get me wrong, but anything would be better than the "explaination" we got for megatrons new body

 

Here are a couple more ideas to throw out there:

1. Have somewhat of a fight between Sideways and Sideswipe

2. Have Demolishor pick Optimus off of his head one and toss him into a building

3. Simplify Devs formation. Show the Constructicons as robots transforming down into vehicles . . . then Scavenger connecting them one at a time.

4. Definitely make the Prime and Fallen fight longer and more epic.

5. Kill off an autobot. (thought this was suppose to be alot darker)

6. Explain why Fallen does not teleport to Earth until Prime is revived

Seriously, can someone picture the 80s cartoons being all about Spike and Sparkplug?  

 

I like these ideas, but they wouldnt of made the movie "much" better. IMO, the only way to make this movie better would be if they DELETED the dog humping, robot humping, and Devastator's balls for the dvd. Seriously. That would bring the movie up a whole couple of points. It's the ridiculous Scary Movie type humor that is so jarring and has made alot of fans unhappy.

 

Really? Leo's presence THROUGHOUT the whole movie and John Turturo defeating Devastator are perfection?

Prime should have been left dead....sending three kids, a dog, and a senile robot across the globe onan archaeology trip to find some MacGuffin to resurrect Prime just sucked whatever drama....wait, it just sucked.

 

i agree some things could be deleted as well...i enjoyed the jokes, but the judy witwicky being high thing was dragged out way to long, the same thing with the wheelie humping, that lasted for longer than it needed to

 

Great ideas, I would of loved some interaction between Soundwave and Megatron and also the Ravage thing would of been a nice homage to G1. But yeah I think the movie needs to do a lot more to make in better, like cutting out the 40+ minutes that was wasted on leg humping and old geezer robots farting.

 

I like those ideas a lot, especially the "Ravage, eject" line. I was totally waiting for him to say that.

Another line that Soundwave should have said, which i was also wating for, was "As you command Megatron"
