Barricade was killed in Part one by Ironhide. It looked like a robot being broken in pieces Speaking of Comics and movie books there are so many out there that the Authors and writers even forgot who's alive and whos dead and etc.
wth??? barricade was not killed by ironhide, if i remember correctly than he is seen last on the highway... but he sure isnt dead...
He got scared, hearing rumors about Optimus Prime and faces, and ran. He's also changed his name to Waldo, or something.
I just like to ignore that scene where they some him on the highway and assume he died after his fight with BB.
thats not barricade in the lg commercial or the split second scene of his hand coming over the camera, the face strongly resembles blackout's. either that or its just another protoform, they all pretty much look similar
no way. there is a reason why Barricade was not in part 2 and everybody else was. Ironhide killed Barricade. That was Barricade
Barricade disappearance is not adressed at all in Revenge of the Fallen; He hasn't reformatted as Sideways, he wasn't the Decepticon who abducted Ron and Judy Witwicky either (that was one of the Protoforms). BTW, he isn't the vehicle shield Ironhide uses to deflect Blackout's attack on him either (it always puzzled me why people thought this. Like Barricade would actually sit in one place and allow himself to be used as a shield against one his comrade's attacks), from the first film. Barriacde was last seen curising on the Highway Behind Bonecrusher in TRANSFORMERS, he falls out of the line of the camera as it zooms in on Bonecursher as he starts to Transformer. Afterward you don't see him in the film at all. So unless their planning to have him return in Transformers 3, those who took the time to read the side stories for the first film, will have to take his death from either the Novelization or the Comic Book as cannon along with the rest of the First Film's event.
Barricade followed Mojo, Frank, The Doctor, and the now resurrected Bonecrusher to Egypt to wreak havoc on thier military.
not really, Swidle and dead end were the first but somehow survived, Barricade survived cuz in TF alliance which take before TFROTF ironhdie repsts to prime that barricade got away so barricade still alive
Barricade saw Bonecrusher get killed, quit the decepticons, and now works for Hasbro to avoid being killed. Naw, I can imagine him showing up and having a decent role in TF3
From what I understand, the original script for Movie #1 was that Barricade was going to be killed by Optimus Prime after he had killed Bonecrusher. But Michael Bay decided he wanted to keep Barricade for the sequel. Reign of Starscream showed that Barricade was injured and Starscream retrieved him, fixed him up, etc. Barricade was also briefly seen in the Alliance comic. And likewise, he appeared in The Veiled Threat novel at the end. So, Barricade is still alive. But why he hasn't shown up in ROTF, who knows? Hopefully they will explain his disappearance and have him play a role in TF #3.
