My audience was pretty into the movie. They cheered when the movie started. They laughed at all the Twins, Simmons, and some Jetfire scenes, laughed in disgust when Simmons showed his thong, and cheered when Prime defeats Demolisher. The scene where Leo tased himself got the biggest laugh, even I was laughing out loud. When Prime died there was collective sound of disbelief, but during the slow part of the movie it was mostly silence except for one guy saying "BORING!" just loud enough for me to hear. At the end though most people cheered and clapped. All in all I think the audience enjoyed the movie.

Aw man, I enjoyed it a lot LESS than I hoped for, but not because of the movie itself, it was that damn IMAX Theater! The rows are god awful close together, and of COURSE I got stuck right behind a group of surfer dudes, all giant blonde headed guys that think they own the public. There were about 5 of them and they were all right in front of ME. Two the the left, one right in front of me, and two to the right all lined up in the row in front of mine. The guy that sat right in front of my seat ROCKED back and forth through at LEAST 75% of the movie, and his backrest kept hitting my knees! Then the guy immediately to the right of him kept resting his hands behind his head, and in doing this, his left elbow kept touching my right knee. These actions didn't seem to phase these two guys, but it was annoying the HELL out of me in that they were both CONSTANTLY invading my "personal space" during the movie. I don't like random stranger's body parts rubbing against mine. Even the strangers who were sitting to my left and my right were being more considerate in us all trying not to randomly touch each other. Also, the aisles at IMAX are terribly narrow. About half way through the movie, my knees got this horrendous ACHE that would not go away, and there is NO room to stretch your legs out, so you're stuck with sitting bent kneed through the entire movie, unless you wanna risk standing up and pissing off everyone behind you. I have certain complaints about the movie itself, but they are miniscule, and I still LOVED the movie. I think I'm going to go see it again next week at a REGULAR theater where I can stretch my legs out and be able to MOVE to another seat if I don't like what's going on around me, as opposed to being stuck in the seat that you paid for at IMAX. Next weekend, I 'll go to a theater near me, and it'll be the first showing of the movie for that day, so there won't be too many people there, and I'll be able to stretch my feet out and enjoy the movie more, and if there's anyone around me that's doing something annoying, I can just get up and move to another seat. Since I've seen the IMAX version, I don't have to worry about the "special IMAX ONLY SCENES" that I'll be missing at a regular theater. Been there, done that, and now I want to see the movie in more of a comfort zone.......

The reactions of everyone were pretty positive. Some cheers went up when the electronic noises cued during the Dreamworks/Paramount graphics, just like from the first film. People laughed a lot at Skids, Mudflap, Wheelie, the parents and Jetfire a bit (laughing loudly enough that I couldn't always hear all of the dialogue at a couple points). People did fall deathly silent when Prime died. Cheers went up, and went up loudly, when Prime ripped off Grindor's face, when Prime was resurrected and when Prime killed the Fallen. Some cheers when up as the film ended and the credits began. Me and the friend I went with stayed through the credits in case there was a scene after the film ended, as did a shitload of people, and everyone said 'Awwww!' after we got a whole lot of nothing.

the first time they said "the fallen" i looked to my friend and pointed at my shoes since they're fallens. i laughed at the jokes and was entertained throughout pretty much the whole movie since i don't like to miss stuff. my friend muttered "oh shit" when megs stabbed prime and everyone clapped at the end
