I too noticed how into this fight the audience was. Then DEAD SILENCE. I mean no sound when Prime was taken out. Can't wait to see it again!

 

I loved it because they proved me right.

I kept saying it would have been way better in the first movie if Prime had to fight both Megatron and Blackout instead of Blackout getting killed before he even got in the fight.

So I was right Prime vs Megatron and a Blackout type robot was way cooler. Then they one up even that because they decided Starscream should be in on this as well. Unlike the robots Prime seemed to beat without much effort Prime really had to fight his metal butt off against the three of them.

 

It was awesome. Everything about it was awesome. I loved how Optimus was yelling at Megatron when Optimus was hitting him with a tree. And Optimus hitting Starscream with his own arm. Pure awesomeness, but nothing can match the most awesome line I have ever heard: "I'll take you all on!"

 

It was stunning. The only problem I had was SS' scale - he should be bigger than Prime - and still get kicked in the face!

 

When Prime said "I'll take you all on!" I had to keep myself from jumping up and down. And when Prime died, I actually started crying. I knew he was coming back, but, still. It's Prime.

 

The forest battle scene was in my opinion historical for Transformers action.
Also it was the Optimus Prime I always wished to watch.
I was also sad when Optimus got stabbed by Megatron but I knew
he would come back, especially the fact that Optimus Prime
would ´powerlink with Jetfire at the end of the movie.
