Now with the whole disiguse thing out of the bag(thanks to megatron and the other decepticons) I really think the dinobots should show up in the next movie.

 

I guess so... but only three like Grimlock, Swoop, and the Triceratops (forget if his name is Snarl or Slag). All five would be a waste. And they'd BETTER have decent screentime and Grimolock had better be stupid. So funny when he is    

 

I agree with the three idea strongly and your refering to slag but doubt they would call him that so he would be snarl most likely.

 

But knowing mr bay he will have Only grimlock and he will have a different voice.

He got to put in his sheild guard over his mouth but you always saw grimlock in dino mode most of the time..

 

I prefer that the Dinobots dinosaur modes were scanned in Cybertron and that these alt modes were kept in memory and reused on earth. There are no dinosaurs to scan on earth unfortunately. It is possible that dinosaurs existed on Cybertron long ago and since Transformers live for a long time, the Dinobots could've scanned the dinosaurs long ago on Cybertron. The Dinobots can be characterized as old guys.

As for Scorponok and Ravage, I assume that all hatchlings start with a humanoid shape and such animal forms are also from scanning or shape changing based on Cybertron animals. Insecticons and the worm seen in the movie are probably formed from nanobots who changed shape.

The 5 dinobots should be fighting 5 giant insects.

 

The triceratop on g1 is slag and animated is snarl XD , but is very nice to meet Grimlock and Swoop on the new movie!!!
