Exactly like Sideswipe or like different and has cooler swords/blades what ever you wanna call them Discuss! It would be funny for them to have a big funny fight with the skids and mudflap XD
Well if they have Sideswipe and Sunstreaker they will definitely have them on screen for more than 2 minutes. The second movie was pretty much focusing on the Primes, Decepticons, and Optimus.
Pretty much...it's pointless to ask for new characters, if we do get them they'll just get completely ignored like all of the other bots/cons in the movie. I mean, they put the Fallen's name in the title of the movie and he's in it for what, 5 minutes? If Bay is the director for 3, don't bother putting any other established characters in the movie, just let him go and create more pointless characters like the Twins.
Honestly, I think Sideswipes "Damn I'm Good" attitude covers Sunstreakers personality enough to not warrant Sunstreaker being in the movie. If they were going to bring in additional characters, even though I think it would be better/cheaper to stick with the current Autobot roster and flesh out the characters, I'd rather have a different character type. Maybe even someone that ends up becoming a bad guy (Red Alert style character etc).
I think it's safe to say that Sideswipe's personality actually fits Sunstreaker to a "T" per say, so in a sense we get the awesome looking factor from Sideswipe and the arrogant ego from Streak. It's the best of both of them, wether we like it or not!
Sideswipe was always plenty cocky in G1. And by "cocky," I mean "modest," given the extent of his gnarlyness.
Exactly. What was with the Fallen sittin there with no energy . . And all of the sudden Prime dies and the Fallen stands up? wtf? where was the explanation for that?! then he just happens to be able to teleport to earth now? gimme a F#$$W break!
Sunstreaker should be a deep blue Cadillac CTS. GM gets to advertise another car and Bay gets to slap another name on an alt mode that doesn't fit. But thats not the question - the question is what is his stereotype gonna be? Pirate? Geewunner? Fanboy? Cheerleader? Football jock? Housewife?
I say let him barely pop up in the final battle in a scene so hectic and shaky you won't even tell it's him!
Dunno - the bare amount of characterisation that Sideswipe got in the movie showed that he covered the Sunstreaker territory pretty well, so I don't think there is a need for their to be a Sunstreaker in the G1 sense. How would it not fit?
Sunstreaker isn't needed Sideswipe radiates enough awesomeness to cover them both plus countless other namless transformers.
Because the "Sun" part of his name implies he's yellow. Having a Sunstreaker that's not yellow would be like having a Bluestreak that's grey and black instead of blu----wait a minute....
LOL that made me laugh Any way...Sunstreaker was originally planned for revenge of the fallen. So there's a good chance that if the writers liked what they wrote on him then they will bring him into the third one but most likely not as Sideswipe's brother. Bay loves his sports cars/concept cars, I'm sure hes going to want more characters like Sideswipe that fit those sort of alt modes in the next film. That's why we haven't gotten Prowl yet.
