    Here's my experience.

I largely stayed away from any news concerning Revenge of the Fallen.
I was not active in the movie forums, I even stayed away from the threads about the movie's game.

When the toys came out I got a few -largely because Windcharger called me and told me how awesome the Sideswipe figure was (he was right, too).
So I did know some of the characters that I would see in the film.

    But the efforts paid off.
I had no idea that Alice was a Decepticon (Pretender?).
I had no clue towards Prime's sacrifice.

The first time I saw that Devastator was in the movie was when I saw the preview during Star Trek and I was blown away.
I had no idea there would be so many Decepticons.

Seriously, I encourage everyone who reads this to stay away from spoilers for Transformers 3.
    I know I will.

    -Scalpel was awesome overall.
-The new robot designs are cool.
-Jetfire basically shouting at the human cast for several minutes was great.
-Optimus/Jetfire was cool as hell, despite being in it for so little.
-Shia sure can scream like a girl.

Definitely loved the movie, will see it 3 more times, own it on Bluray and enjoy it for years to come.

Would have deinitely liked more Sidewipe and Arcee times, as well as some Jolt Dialogue. And I'm torn on Bumblebee.

See, I wanted him to talk, but sometimes he's so cool being the silent, but deadly guy with the kind heart, like some character from a Samurai movie, who kicks so much ass but doesn't express himself too much even though you know he has a huge heart. I think if he had spoken with that accent, he wouldn't have been as cool. He grew on me a lot.

    Devastator was Amazing.
soundwave was pretty much the most importiant character.
All the robots got a lot more screen time than the first, and ones who had a lot of screen time in the first didnt need screen time in the second (ratchet)
    Storyline was great
the actors played their roles perfectly

I do wish Ratchet had been on more. He's becoming one of my favorite characters. His Line in this movie against that gov douche was awesome, hehe.

I need to watch this again like Yesterday.

Ah, I loved the movie. I think I enjoyed it more than the first one because there were more bots, more bot action, and a better plot. (IMO)

I was a tad confused about the duplicate Constructicons, but after reading several theories I do think it makes sense.

Jetfire was epic WIN. I almost started laughing at his introduction because I'm so used to the Jetfire in my avvie being... well, Jetfire.

I definitely have to watch it again in theaters, if just for it to stick in my head better.

And I liked Skids and Mudflap more than I thought I would. Sideswipe was badass, but I'm missing Sunstreaker.

Optimus + Jetfire was SICK, because combining two supah-awesome characters = ... mega-awesome? I dunno.

I'm sensing a mass or sarcastic posts in this thread's future. And if that happens then I'll lose what little respect I had left for the fandom.

So, can we discuss things we had a problem with, if they are done constructively?

I liked it that there was the Megatron\Starscream dynamic that the first movie lacked.

And, while I wonder why he wasn't voiceboxed, I was blown away when I heard Welker's Soundwave.

More robot screen time, characters closer to classic personalities, Frank Welker -I am sure the team at Dreamwave listened to us from the first movie.
Is it too much to wish for Dinobots and Insecticons in the third?

    No.

I liked seeing Prime transform into a truck. That's about it.

I thought the Revenge of the Fallen was amazing. Fans wanted to see more fighting robots and Michael bay delivered. I understood the plot even if Rodger Ebert did not.

I'm not a mod or anything. I can't make rules.
    I just made suggestions.
    But thanks for asking.

Why don't you try and we'll see what happens?
The sarcastic posts have been mostly ignored, so go for it.

I would love a thread where people only talked about what they liked.

I went in pretty much blind, not knowing anything about plot and story. I absolutely loved everything about the movie!
