    Nay

    -_-

Then again, maybe the franchise will get stuck with Uwe Boll, show the outspoken haters that Bay really isn't that bad.

I'd say yes just because I think change for a long running franchise can be good. However, like the poster above me stated... we could get stuck with someone worse than Bay if that happens. Though, personally, short of Spielberg taking the reigns himself... I'm not sure I'd want anyone else.

New director and lets pretend these first two abominations never happened.

I'd really like to see Hasbro go meet up with the people from Marvel Studios and let them handle the next one.

Ambivalent. I think Bay is doing a good job on the action scenes, the designs and on making the films fun and generally entertaining and I'd hate to see him go and lose that...but they need someone else there to temper his excesses. Someone to crack the whip on strengthening the plotline, rather than just having a thin story designed only to run from action scene to action scene. Someone to keep the story tight and focused, without a lot of tangents and characters/concepts appearing and disappearing randomly. Someone to tone down the humorous parts and make what is kept in a bit more organic with the plot. Whether it's Spielberg that needs to step up and do it, or whether they need a "co-director" who handles the plot/characters while Bay handles the action stuff, I think Bay's been given a bit too much free reign.

I'd definitely be skipping TF3 if that happened; I really dislike his work. If either him, Tarantino, Uwe Boll or Woody Allen (...you never know...) got involved with the movie franchise, I'd be done with the films.

And not Marvel Studios either (seen a number of people suggest that). I haven't seen a single Marvel Studios film I've liked yet and I doubt "Marvel presents Transformers with a Stan Lee cameo" would be any different.

Hell yes either that or bay signs on some good writers who are willing to write a decent story and he shuts up and listens aswell.

Get rid of the ego michael bay and the dull humour.............take a look at how nolans movies turn out....a story and lots of action.........its really not that hard.

I would like to see JJ Abrams take a shot at Transformers seeing how well he worked w/Orci & Kurtzman on Star Trek, however I also dread the trilogy curse that might follow a change of director/writer/anything.

Yes, definately get a new director - Hell, like Tank said, let's forget these films and start over fresh. It never ceases to amaze me what people take as quality entertainment these days.

I was for Bay sticking around for all TF movies based on his work on the first one... which I loved to no end. But, after ROTF, I'm not so sure.

I want Speilberg. Maybe he will let the Transformers actually talk and be characters.... rather than only use them for comedy and fighting.

^ This. I love the Bay movies but the Cybertronians need more dialogue and character.
