I minded it with Grindor, but considering he was in the background of all of two shots and did nothing consequential, I actually LOVED Bonecrusher's "hates death too much to stay dead" reappearance. The dude's become such a meme, it'd have been a shame for him not to just pop up randomly somewhere in the future.

 

bonecrusher was the one who shot the 2 bike bots.
so he not only came back form the dead he killed 2 autobots thats his revenge on prime from the first movie

 

what's funny about all of this is people were complaining that Bonecrusher wasn't coming back and then you see part of him and now people are complaining about that. Can't have it both ways lol

 

Opens the door for a voyager class Bonecrusher though.

Well the only explanation I can think of is that this movie was all about revenge, meaning that some robots wanted to get their own back.

Grindor, a distant cousin of Blackout had come to avenge Blackout (unfortunately he got on the wrong side of prime and lost his head). So from what I can understand, Bonecrusher's, lets say brother (twin brother if it makes u feel better), has come to avenge him too

To me having the vehicle modes of "dead characters" showing up is the equivalent of having a big-ass space battle in Star Wars and having ten Slave-Ones appear. Reusing animation doesn't make sense when you have a 200+ million dollar budget unless you can hide it REALLY well.

Army building is one thing but buying multiples at 13 and 23 dollars will get very expensive fast.

 

He was only there for a few seconds in vehcile mode. For all you know it was just a Buffalo Vehicle that looked like him, not the actual character. It's not like he transformed, yelled "Booga wooga! I'm Bonecrusher!" and ripped an Autobot's face off. It was a cameo of a Buffalo and nothing else.

 

I just thought it was someone who had the same alt mode/robot mode. It's not like Hasbro hasn't done that before *looks at the many seeker repaints on the bookshelf*

I think the twins were there to show that two robots can very much look alike.

At the top left of the screen is an oversized Bonecrusher with a huge ass machine gun that looks like a Halo Rocket Launcher.

 

Actually, he did transform. You get a clear shot of his thighs and torso. And gun.

But I think it is like this, there are a lot of cons that are huge and finding alt modes can be hard.
